No, the mistake was in ever calling it to begin with. If it was 4th and 5 or less, then it would’ve been a much higher percentage call. Since it was 4th and 11, it was an extremely low percentage call, and once again was probably one of the worst, if not the worst coaching decisions made, considering all the circumstances.

He would have to be the OC already for that to happen. I am not buying that. That has to be some kind of violation if it is true. No way freeze stays on campus, while Pruitt leaves, and visits with recruits.

classic choke under pressure deal imo. Youve battled a superior opponent to a stalemate and have a chance to pin them deep and possibly get the ball back. Yet you do something that is not just ill advised, but something reckless that puts your opponent within a 20 yard gain of a game winning field goal attempt. The pressure of the moment got to him. Just take a deep breath and punt the f'ing ball

Not poking you, but I’m pretty sure that’s highly illegal for freeze to be talking to recruits especially together.

You Can only have a certain number of staffers recruiting on the road and on campus. And each individual has to be approved, take a test, and basically on a “recruiting” roster submitted to the ncaa that basically says these are the people that are recruiting for us.

Last night was Butch Jones level situational football on UGA's part.

Hated the way the managed the end of the 1st half. They just got bailed out by an equally bad management decision by Bama to go after the punt.

The fake punt was awful timing and more poorly executed.

Didn't understand how/why they used Fields either.

Over all I think UGA's game plan was really good. They ran the ball effectively, and Fromm was on point.

UGA's defense was the story tho thru 3.5 qtrs.

LSS....uga should have beaten Bama twice. And didn't. This one I think goes squarely on Kirby's shoulders.

I won't argue the claim that UGA has perhaps one of the 4 most talented teams in the country but I'm not yet convinced they have one of the top 4 HC in the country.

A lot of people are going to end up making up their minds that Kirby lost that game for his team and I think that could be to our benefit..........unless when and if we get in a similar position our guy ends up being no different.

Just hope we're all still alive when he has that chance in the SEC championship game or even better NCG.
