What have you learned today?

I learned that my daughter doesn’t like it when you take her shoes off if she doesn’t want you to. Learned that a homeless guy in Vicksburg is more godly than I am and sees the world more clearly than I do. Learned that people in general are generous creatures. Learned that my mother-in-law’s wound from having cancer removed is so painful she can’t use her left arm. Learned that my flooring guy is good at his job. Learned that Jalen Hurts is a baller. And my wife wants me to help her keep the house clean
You had a helluva day. BTW - I learned the shoe thing myself with my daughter about 10 years ago.

That saban former asst's take care of their daddy's ass by doing and calling stupid **** calls. What a sham.
I could tell you were Georgia without you saying it. In fairness though, that did reek of a bit of professional wrestling flair. Of course by that I mean, Woo!

There was reasoning behind that call that made sense. It takes serious balls to do that but The only reason Georgia had a chance at the end of the game was because of that 4th and 11 fake call. Amazing how many people don’t understand this.

I don't see a NC for UGA while Kirby is HC and will screw up gameday on the field decisions.

If the fake punt decision would have worked, he would have been considered a saint and a great coach. However, when it is 4th and 11 and your opponent has their regular defense in the game on a punt, the chance for this fake punt call to actually work is almost zero percent. I presume he will regret this call for a very long time.

I learned that people don’t understand basic analytics or reasoning behind certain playcalls.

Amazing that we have so many arm chair coaches on this board.

Edit: there, are you happy people.

I learned that I would take Jalen Hurts as a grad transfer. I also learned that seemingly Smart coaches make some Dumb play calls.

Quite a few things. First, its just beyond sickening to see how far we are away from Bama and UGA. We will not beat Bama as long as Saban is there. Alabama is just loaded beyond belief.

Next, Smart is an elite HC. Yes he made a dumb call but the fact is he has UGA on a level where they are going to rule the East for the foreseeable future.

Lastly, Tuas Heisman hopes just got flushed.

Wasn’t that dumb of a call. The defense wasn’t stopping Bama and Jalen. Giving them a short field preserved time and UGA’s timeouts. In essence, UGA did that surrending at minimum a FG and at most a TD. The only reason the offense had the ball last was because of that call.

Now I wouldn’t make that call but I understand the risk / reward of it and why they did it. Bigger issue is that they didn’t call it off after Bama lined up in Man.
