Most would agree that our offensive line will have to be much-improved next year for significant progress to be made. Looking at Georgia's starting line today might provide some optimism. Georgia is starting two freshmen (neither of which is Mayes) and two sophomores. If we can get get some improvement out of what we have and some contribution out of what we have potentially coming in, it's very possible to have a much better line next year, especially considering there's only one direction to go.

Apples to oranges. Richt and Smart recruited real SEC OL. Botch recruited MAC level OL. Not even remotely comparable. Expect our OL to be bad next year as well.
Morris and Wright (if we get) would be a couple oranges Georgia would like to have. Not saying it will be great, just saying improvement is possible.

Its possible. But expecting 2 true FR to start in the SEC and be successful is a tall order. I do think the OL will be a little improved next year.

Little improvement in Oline for 2019, QB better be mobile as H3LL

G-man must learn to RUN when the line can’t hold between now and September 2019. That’s the only way our OL will appear to get any better. If G-man continues his “statue” technique, TN will suck again.

They will really need to focus in the weight room this offseason. Does anyone know if Brandon Kennedy is coming back for next season

Yes he should be back and I agree added about 5-7% of good weight would help immensely

If we land Wright, we'll have a monster O-line haul, but I still suspect it will take 2 seasons to see major progress. Maybe the O-line goes from being an "F" to a "C" next season, though.

Yes it will take a couple years. But Kennedy will be back, and he at least is a true SEC lineman. Was in the two deep at bammer, and was a big loss this year. It's not all bad on the OL, but a very long way to go.

Landing the two top five frosh will help tremendously.

I'm just glad that these recruits are built, they do need S&C, but they are starting off bigger than most of the existing, plus they look like offensive lineman should. Mean. We've had chess club candidates up there hoping they'd push someone around, which they don't have it in them to do, too worried about damaging fingernails or whatever. These new guys will have the attitude that has been missing. That alone will make them better. By the middle of the season it'll be very apparent once they get some xp and gel.

Morris, Trey Smith (or Richmond), Kennedy (or Neihaus), Jamir Johnson, Wright.

First man up not mentioned Tatum.

I don’t think you want two trueFrosh starting at tackle. Then again, we started two trueFrosh corners so who knows. If I had to guess, Wright starts at guard if Trey can’t go

Tatum was better than I expected at the end of the year. Too bad he never got a redshirt season that all OL need.

If Tennessee doesn’t get some JUCO linemen for next year, get ready for some 5-7 again possibly worse.

If they are, then fire Pruitt. They won’t be world beaters, but I can’t imagine a year of practice and S&C won’t improve this line.
Heavy lifts and tons of Weight Gain 4000 should bulk these dudes up. No way were they close to their "reported weights".

I don't think so. Schedule is much easier next year. We have a shot at as many as eight wins IMO.

But yeah, we will need the Auburn and Kentucky team to show up, not the one that played the last two games. If the Mizzou Vandy team shows up we might go 3-9.
