Healy's going to Charlotte? That guy is a future star imo. He'll probably have a thread to be our next head coach in a few years.

It’s true we have had poor leadership but you gotta admit we have suffered so much universally throughout our sports program the last 10 years that it messes with your perceived perception of reality as it pertains to Tennessee and the universe being against our beloved Vols. Run on sentence. Etc etc.

None of that is true, so that name calling you did applies to you.
Schiano wasn't cleared of looking the other way and Freeze was the least penalized of
all because he was accused of not reining in the booster culture that existed once
he got there.

or because we got Lindsey. Freeze likely to leave sooner and is not as good a fit.

Like everyone posting on VN we can't be certain which one we got. We'll be lucky to get 3 years outta Freeze but he packs a recruiting wallup. Lindsey has Bo Nix and may be able to flip him but that's irrelevant due to Bailey's commit. Fulmer knows to move fast and beat Bama on this one and Sexton knows it too. If it was a done deal I don't see any reason to interview Lindsey and that happened. Just want it to be over and get a few more top recruits.

Schiano wasnt cleared because he was never charged with anything. You dont have to clear yourself from allegations, the accuser has to prove the accusation.......Merica.

Meh, I dont know about that man. The dough boy that took over after Bud died didnt. But Amy has done a pretty good job. They won a playoff game last year and fired a.coach that she really liked. This years team is up and down but with a new coach and losing Walker, there are decent. The lose of walker cant be overstated. The problem this year is oline, not sure what the heck happened there.
The onlt indication ive seen that they are not dedicated to winning is not signing a receiver this year before the deadline. But all indications are they tried and just didnt get it done.
Long.answer, sorry, but I'll say, at least they are comparative most of the time.

I can live with him if we get him and I can live without him if we don't.

I just want a top notch OC/QB coach who's also a top notch recruiter to get us climbing back up to the top.

I really have to wonder if Freeze would still be a good recruiter and a good coach if he was NOT paying kids and their family to come play for him???

It's much easier to recruit and to win when the HC has rich boosters to call up and tell them which kid and family to make sure gets certain amounts of $$$ or cars or whatever.

I just want another Championship before I die.

If we don’t hire freeze it could be because he wanted to go elsewhere or Pruitt thought another candidate fits better with him and the program etc

I would like freeze but it isn’t the end if someone else is hired.

Recruiting right now is as big as hiring an oc

He's at the top of their list after the offer was pulled from James Madison (Houston) Coach.

One thing every one neglects Pruitt wants a power run game at least 50/50 run pass no matter what but Freeze has thru his entire time in Ole Miss had the worst running game or very close too in whole sec

He’s all air raid mike leach style with some tricks mixed in

All this considered he won’t be hired
