My university absolutely doesn’t care about championships. They don’t care about winning. If Butch Jones wins 7 games last year he’s still the coach this year.

My university will absolutely not win another football championship of any kind in my lifetime. I’ve come to accept this. I have been reduced to watching and being satisfied with the occasional Barn and Ky upsets.

I doubt they are worried about the media but I could see them being so ignorant that they’re worried about the fans. Maybe they are so disengaged that they think we’ll protest again 🤷🏻‍♂️

Um.... we will have young men that learn morals from this man for 4 sometimes 5 years..... thats the "backlash" that i would sleep poorly after a win knowing.

Wrong. Currie was fired because it became clear to the idiots that run UT that Currie would never be able to hire a coach above high school level. Every coach Currie spoke with called Bill Snyder who said Currie wasn’t a guy you wanted to work for. Why these idiots hired Currie to begin with was stupid. Now they’re hiring the OC? God help us!

Honestly I’m a little torn as a fan... feels hypocritical to hire him this year after the fiasco with Shiano last year... we need to come to the realization that the only great hire isn’t always the one that we are all clamoring for!

Gives the Haslams more ammo to take down Fulmer and Pruitt. Randy Boyd's a Haslam puppet and Bill will be President when he's out of the governor's mansion.

😂😂 please. Like you have any true connection. Plus, if he is at UT he is under a tight leash as far as conduct goes. Everyone deserves second chances. (Talk to Jennings)
