Regardless of whether or not you want Freeze here, it’s not acceptable the way it is being handled. I’m ok with Lindsey and actually think he will do well here, but how will this program do if the HC and the AD are not allowed to do their jobs and everything is at the mercy of one family?

I mean do we know 100% that he's Pruitt's first choice and Fulmer is supporting him? Seems like a lot of speculation so far imo. Obviously he's on the list, but I'm not sure he's been identified as the guy Pruitt wants to hire yet.

I think any weighing of potential backlash is a smart move considering a backlash embarrassed the university and got people fired last year.

Concerns are with media backlash to do with the Schiano debacle
