My point isnt indefensible no matter how loud or how long you babble on about it. You are comparing apples to oranges......one of them is dealing with something that will send you to prison for a long time and the other is something that is legal in some parts of the US. They are nothing close to being comparable. I didnt want Schiano because I think hes a potential disaster of a head coach and not because of the PSU crap FTR....still doesnt change my point.

Exactly. It isn't only the rumored Penn St. stuff, but he has a track record of being a really bad person. See the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Rutgers.

we agree 100% on this, as i linked my stand on GS from a year ago earlier in this thread. i wish people would stop making the blanket statement that we didnt want GS because of the PSU thing. it drives me nuts!

Who had the vehement argument that Freeze is a stand up guy lol? First I've heard of that. He's a dang football coach. It's not like he is being vetted for the Supreme Court.

What was proven that Greg Schiano did that would send him to prison for a long time?

The rumored stuff and accusations even if not proven is enough for some people not to want him.............................still doesnt make it hypocritical that the same person who feels that way doesnt feel that way about someone who supports hookers.

You are either dense or just plain not reading. "One of them is dealing with" meaning it is something that surrounds child sexual abuse and he allegedly saw it and didnt report it. He doesnt have to be proven to have done anything to make a person not want him as a head coach.

You and I probably agree that someone should not be punished based on allegation alone.
You and I probably agree that Hugh Freeze accepted guilt else he would not have resigned.
I think we differ on the following: I think character matters and Hugh Freeze's character is as suspect as the allegation is against Greg Schiano.

There must be numbers of available outstanding offensive coordinators who'd like to further their career at such an institution as ours and who have no baggage.

Why don't we just make Freeze head coach, move Pruitt to a coordinator position where he is more natural, and then become relevant again?

Yeah I expected this post type response. I'm not talking about unwilling sex workers. Im not trying to get into a whole thing about this causd I really dont care and nobodys gonna change anyone's opinion. Of course its all black and white and your generalizations are more informed than mine blah blah blah. Every hoe everywheres a victim of modern day slavery uh huh. My point was I dont care if Freeze called some up or not, Im sure he will be smarter next time.

But answer my question please. Who has vehemently defended Freeze as a stand up guy? I have not seen anyone do that on this board. I have seen many who say that sure, the guy deserves another chance, but that's it.

I said "stand up enough to coach" at UT. I mistakenly assumed an individual who wasn't a stand up guy would not be a candidate...like Schiano. Clearly, I was wrong. Character was the foremost consideration with Schiano and is not a consideration at any level with Freeze. My bad.

Let me just rephrase the whole comment so it'll be clearer:

Vehement argument to hire him despite Freeze's personal integrity being of unquestionable inadequacy.
