If its not done today then it’s problematic. My gut says briles is a better choice.
If its freeze it will be a short stay but it would tell me Tennessee has changed hiring
Tactics for the good. A couple of years might be all thats needed to jump start the program and bring fans home.

He was talking that crap yesterday, saying if this happens he "Ainge" will be Fulmer's worst nightmare, blah, blah, blah.
Coming off pretty high and mighty for someone who had his own issues that have been forgiven by the Vol community. Rocks and glass houses !

I've got to think Freeze's whole mystique is he is the Saban/Bama killer. He would have no advantage going there and kissing Saban's rings unless he could not get employment elsewhere. He obviously can get employment elsewhere.

It wouldn't help him as much getting a job as coming here and building our offense back either IMO.

Talking about himself mostly, I haven't listened to him since 2012 during Dooley's last year. I thought it was awesome when the document dump happened last year and he had been in contact with Currie and Jones kissing ass

He tried to get Freeze into Bama last year.

What would be better for his resume--maintaining at Bama or knocking it out of the park at Tennessee?

The answer is Tennessee--and Jimmy Sexton knows that in a couple of years Freeze will back on top of the coaching tree.

That just sent chills down my spine. So 4* 2020 QB Harrison Bailey JUST makes a commit while we have an open OC slot? Or perhaps Harrison already KNOWS who our OC is.

I know that, even if we get Freeze it is going to be 2020 before we are really competing in any way - BUT, if we throw some serious money and get Freeze, recruiting is going to be off the charts for all those positions that CJP wants to bring on. Recruits can have confidence that the team will be together for a bit. THAT is how we will get that success is by adding 50 new superstar players in the next 2 years.
