Do we actually know if Freeze was having sex with those escorts? Maybe he was counseling those ladies to choose a different path.
I attended a Christian college in Nashville for a while. My first roommate was already preaching and a religion major. He used to drive around downtown Nashville where the prostitutes were and would circle the blocks there over and over. I didn't have transportation so I was with him on some of those trips. He was just weirdly fascinated with the other side LOL. He later started making visits to women's prisons delivering sermons.

Bro, I think your friend might be a serial killer...

We should always strive to sin no more. Jesus knew she could never do that so he sacrificed himself for her and others. He said He did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. The law shows us we need a Savior. And Paul tells us in Romans as long as we are in this body we will fail even though the spirit and soul have been redeemed thankfully we don't have to take this body with us. And Noah was perfect in his generations which Genesis 6 explains. Where it says Job was perfect it meant blameless and he shunned evil if you research the Hebrew. He wasn't without sin because it is revealed to him at the end of the book what his sin was.
Absolutely, sister; I believe in everything you just said. And please, Soda...know that I never wish to argue about faith and the good Lord with anyone. You are my sister in Christ, and that is a very special thing; you and I should never argue about the grace of God; we both have failed the holy spirit if we do so. I respect you, and pretty much everything that you post.

When I said "cop out", I didn't mean it as anything harsh, although I can now see how it could have come across that way. Jesus tells us that Satan is the father of lies, and the truth is not in him. Paul tells us that Satan is the "prince of the power of the air". I take that as Satan is in the very air we breathe, all around us; therefore, lies are all around us...and I believe that the saying, "nobody's perfect", is one of those lies.

Think about it this way. Yes, Paul spoke about the body, and the sin that is trapped inside the flesh; we can never get away from it. Very true. But, Paul also talks about putting on the "new man", the "new creature: old things have passed away; all things become NEW". We can transcend the body, the flesh, become spirit, and can "go, and sin no more". With Christ, we can do anything. Absolutely, we can go and sin no more, else, he never would have told her that. And yes, absolutely, we have to have Jesus leading our every step to attain it. It can be done, to walk without sin; or else, the power of God is negated. Yes, Jesus is the only person to ever be born, walk, and die without sin; yet, after one repents of the sins they have committed, and confess and accept Jesus as their Lord and savior, we can go from there, if we really, truly want to, and sin no more, and thus become perfect in the sight of God...but, never in the sight of man.

Football wise, all the attention is on recruiting and Jeremy Pruitt’s search for a new offensive coordinator.

Pruitt and former Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze met earlier this week while Pruitt was on a recruiting trip with staff members in Memphis.

Freeze has made it clear through many channels that he’s very interested in the Tennessee job and Freeze felt like the meeting went well according to multiple sources. The question is whether or not Pruitt believes Freeze is the right fit for him and this program?

Right now, Tennessee is the biggest possible suitor for Freeze but that could change as the domino effect of coaching hires continues.

Alabama’s Mike Locksley is scheduled to interview for the Maryland job next week. If Locksley were to leave the Tide, would Nick Saban promote Dan Enos or would he go after Freeze? We know that he wanted Freeze on his staff as an analyst this past year and many believe that Freeze would be Saban’s choice.

Freeze is the most talked about name for the Vols at this point because he’s the biggest name out there and he’s the guy that we know Pruitt has spoke with or interviewed.

He’s obviously not the only candidate though. We continue to hear Chip Lindsey’s name as a guy that Pruitt has real interest in. Lindsey and Pruitt know each other well. And few believe that Lindsey is going to be back at Auburn next year. Freddie Kitchens name has come up as well. Pruitt while on the road this week recruiting as certainly vetted out other names.

So while there are others we haven’t discovered at this point. The biggest question is what does Pruitt want his offense to be? Who’s a good fit for him culturally and who’s offensive system fits closest to what he wants to do and what the offense is capable of doing at this point? If Pruitt goes fast in the search, Freeze and Lindsey see the most logical choices.

Oh, I didn't take the cop out as something against me directly. And I'm sure you've noticed I have liked many of your posts. I grew up with a Church of God mother and a Baptists father that took me to Methodist churches then I married a man that grew up in the Church of Christ whose mother grew up Episcopalian so I've covered most Protestant dictrine and studied Catholic. I've met many people that call themselves Christians, but I've never met one close to being perfect. I hate that Christians feel they need to make the world think they are, and the world sees straight through us because Satan makes sure they do. It's obvious we have not come to the same conclusion from reading the Scripture because I see the only thing that makes us acceptable to the Father is if He sees our sins covered by the precious blood of His Son. And that's fine!!! I have many friends and family that believe the way you do. We all fellowship often!

They did, yes; only one that never sinned. However, they did attain perfection at some point in their lives, for God himself to call them, perfect.

Original Hebrew and Greek that translated to perfect means mature. Grounded solid. Now you can move alone. Obviously, Hugh was not mature in his walk and Job was.

Jacket, and by no means am I this perfect, mature being that I believe I may someday can attain; far from it, at the moment, actually.

But, I do believe in forgiveness, and winning the SEC.

I have noticed, and I do appreciate it. And, man! I do love fellowship, as well.

Something else, Soda, to ponder on, if you wish, as I will most definitely do on the things you have shared tonight: in the Gospels, the last thing we learn about Peter, is that he has just denied Christ, 3 different times, and he was breaking down, sobbing, breaking to pieces.

The next thing we learn about Peter, in Acts, is that his shadow is healing people. That is not the same being as the one who we last read about in the Gospels. Peter had, at some point in between, repented of his sins, and had become so full of the holy spirit, which cannot dwell in us fully if we are filled with sin, that his shadow was performing miracles. Wow!

Same goes with Paul. He became a new man, a new creature; from persecuting and executing Christians, to his handkerchiefs being able to heal, if the people just touched them; to being able to see the throne of God. Paul was able to do that. That's not the same "person", you know. Sinners are not allowed to see the throne of God; our Father couldn't even look upon Jesus, as he hang from the cross, because he was so full of the world's sin.

I've very much enjoyed our conversation, Soda. God bless, sister...and Go Vols! 😀

So the Freeze thing was a test for the media. Was there any big time news sources that bashed the idea of Freeze to UT?
