Far as you know...which tends to be very little. 😉 Maybe Jimmy and you his lil protector got this situation confused with Blake Barnett, who redshirted at Bama then transferred to a JUCO his redshirt freshman season after getting beat out by Hurts AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON. He exploited a loophole where he was eligible after the second game at his new stop. That required him to graduate in that time frame. McBride is transferring AFTER the season is complete...a year is used up. Getting his associates doesn’t erase that. I got mixed up myself once thinking Preston Williams had taken that route. But feel free to list examples of two year players who transferred after their second season to a FBS and immediately played without a hardship waiver.

Happy for this guy, seems like he is in a great situation and he really does seem to have the best attitude.
