"I think the Hugh Freeze stuff has some legs"

And Fulmer is telling him I would go with Randy Sanders or David cutcliffe LMAO
We could do a lot worse than Cutcliffe, he is great with Qb's and offense in general. No way on Sanders, he is average at best and probably not that. Many NFL teams have wanted Cutcliffe as QB coach, he is a good OC for college football. But he I would never see him leaving a HC job at Duke, he doesn't have any pressure there and he isn't getting any younger. GBO!

I see nothing wrong with hiring Freeze, just let him know what you expect out of him upfront and what will not be tolerated. My odds are that Freeze is out to take advantage of his chance and will do well. Somebody will grab him up and give him his chance if we don't. We need a good OC, we need to give him his chance. GBO!!!!!

Ignoring any personal issues, my concern with Freeze would be continuity. This program needs the same coaches in place for a long enough period of time that recruits can feel that the program they sign on to is the same one they will be playing in in a year or two. Freeze will be gone in a year, two tops.
