How about this for a fun scenario: We turn out to be wildly successful in Pruitt's second and third year, in part due to Freeze's work as OC, then suddenly Saban decides he's had enough and Freeze moves up to HC when Pruitt goes back to Bama as HC.

Most elite OCs become elite on the job they don't usually start off that way. Freeze is going to be in demand as a HC almost immediately. I just don't think it's worth it to have him on staff for a year or two and have to search again. I'm afraid he'll spend more time on the phone than in the film room.

Still though, the only way he gets another job is if he does well as coordinator.

Well, for the most part I've not wanted to get involved with the Freeze controversy. Not sure if it was not wanting to go back and forth with people or simply trying to form an opinion myself. Tennessee has needed "real" help for years now...Does that make it easier to bring someone in with a past; probably. If we can get him, go for it. I don't care if he has sex with....whatever, just as long as the University doesn't pay for it. Go Vols

Everyone cheats to some degree or another, that’s pretty obvious. Like I said, I’m just pointing out the moral equivalency and peeps don’t like being confronted about their own hypocrisy. That’s what’s going down on this thread

Think of the good work we would be doing if we were the agent of his rehabilitation....his mentor, his friend, his guide and conduit to a respectable, God-fearing life and career. WE could be the difference in this troubled man's life he so desperately needs.

Tyson Helton was done deal way before Vandy game.. Hugh Freeze Been in the works for a long time. Look for someone in Knoxville to lead you away from Hugh Freeze for a smokescreen, then Pruitt come out with the big announcement and make a splash. Pretty much a done deal at this point.

At least the "escort" is not likely to accuse the players of rape and ruin their NFL ticket. Seems less costly than the gold digging baby mamma types that many of these guys who have a future on Sundays attract. Consider that might even keep us out of the next Title IX investigation.
