They reported on the night of the Vanderbilt game that Pruitt would be making a coordinator change, so this might be true.

I hope this report of the failure to identify the top candidate is exaggerated, but there's still a little time left to get it right.

I’d rather have Lindsay than Drinkwitz. His offense has been buoyed by Ryan Finley who is really good.

Looks like he was on SC's shortlist last year. NC ST seemed to have a pretty decent offense this year with their worst game being Clemson. Obviously his name is not Freeze so most will not want him. Although seems like he would be solid.

I am good with either. I don't believe Auburn would hire Freeze as his offense is different from how Malzahn wants to run it. My guess is Freeze at Auburn would be handcuffed like Lindsey is. The NC State coach would be a good hire as well. Better than internal hires at least and some of the other names.

Freeze to me would be the greatest impact though if he can be left to run it the way he wants.
