Weird strawman

The point is the guy is an offensive coach and had crap offenses at UF.

We aren’t looking into hiring him as HC. He’d have to stay in his lane, and in that specific lane, he was crap at UF.

So you can say “he won games” or whatever you want. But he did it as a HC, not with brilliant offensive masterminding

He had good offenses at bama and CSU, knows the SEC, was a reasonably successful head coach,

If will Grier doesn’t get suspended and leave he’s probably still their coach. I’m not saying he’s a homerun but we could do a lot worse than him.

This is how bad rumors get started. All HCs have a philosophy of what they want and have input. Doesn't mean he won't let an OC call his own plays or have input or bring multiplicity. He just wants someone he can trust that will run an offense with physicality and pro style. There are so many ways to do this in today's game. Pruitt is aggressive as heck on defense and special teams. You don't think that translates to offense either? He showed he will go for it often if it makes sense. It seem certain guys want to paint Pruitt a certain way and I have my doubts they know everything like they think they do. Pruitt doesn't spew everything he thinks to everyone

Glad someone else thinks this way and voiced it. I completely agree with this. There are posters out there who are constantly trying to portray Pruitt as this HC that completely controls every aspect of the offense. That it's, "his way or the highway." I'm fairly confident that our offense this season was much more determined by Helton than Pruitt. I would also assume that Pruitt got Helton on staff in the first place because he liked his style of offense. I would also think that Pruitt had input into the offensive philosophy throughout the season where he saw fit. He's the HC, and that's his job and what is expected. It's something else completely to try to sit on here and say that Pruitt runs the offense and it's only his way. Way too many posters these days speaking in absolutes like they have any real knowledge of what's going on in that athletic building. Of the complaints I've had about Pruitt so far during his tenure, his impact on the offense is definitely not one of them.

We could also do a whole lot better. I mean, I'd take him over intern Jones if that's what you mean. But he wouldn't even be on my list

Siap. Does Swain know something? He said this morning, something like “Tennessee has a lot of momentum in recruiting. Trust me. Just keep an eye out the next couple of days.”

Bailey?
well, there's some that have said/believe that the visits tell the tale, and that Bailey was 'playing chess, not checkers' with his comments in his last interview....many of the comments lead one to believe Michigan seems to be the favorite.

no one willing to step out and predict it's going to be TN, but i think there are more now that believe TN is it than maybe a couple weeks ago.

as for Swain....tough to read. i think he probably knows more than he lets on, and generally when he says stuff like that, he has been told something he can't really share. but i've never gotten the impression it's vastly different than what many may post here from what they get from the tea leaves from VQ or 247.

Remember when shark humper said he could teach his dog to play QB?...

He might have had issues with his dog.

I have 3 dogs...one simply couldn't perform physically, she's simply too old. Another doesn't have the brains. But my third dog, she could win the Heisman with the right boss.

I’ve had migraines since I was a kid and remember getting off the school bus and going straight to bed with them. Can be debilitating and miserable. If you’ve exhausted all med options, you should consider going to a chiropractor.
This is the only thing that helped me.

my wife gets chronic migranes and has been on various medications most of her life. she's finally to the point where she's going to check out a chiropractor as well.

Half the time these so called bad play calls were a block away or the right pass target away from big plays. You just can't tell with an bad OL and QB that can read a defense. Go back and rewatch plays. You will see several wide open WRs or Dom and JG throws to some covered guy becaus he can't get pass read 1 and check down. Others OL on run plays if they block a guy it's big plays.
I think it says a lot that they found something that works and developed JG and the receivers to the point where the back shoulder throw/high pointing the ball was quite effective for us. Other teams made adjustments later, but if they don't work on that play in the bye week, we are 4-8 instead of 5-7.
