I have no clue if he called the plays his two years at Southern Miss, but his offense was really good his second year. Mullens (SF QB now) was breaking some of Farve’s records.

I prefer McClendon but Lindsey would be fine. I’d feel about the same way I did when Helton was hired.

I'm really not sure to be honest. Won't be super happy or super mad. What will piss me off is if Auburn replaces him with Freeze or someone else that kills it.

That guy he coached at Southern Miss was dang good.

Had a very good offense at ASU as well. Would grade the hire as a B

Chip Lindsey as oc, Weinke as QBs coach, and move Hardesty up to rb coach.

I think I'm here too. If Pruitt trusts him to run the show I think that goes a long way. I guess I'm in the not sure, just hopeful camp if its him.
