30ppg would win us a lot of games once Pruitt gets his D in shape. Still don’t want McElwain but it’s mainly an optics thing. He’s a goofy goober

McClendon's would be a lateral move when he could potentially go G5 HC (like ECU) and step his career. But if he did, I'm fine with it.

I predicted Lindsey. HS coaching connections with CJP. Air raid guy everywhere until he came to Auburn. QB whisperer. If CJP goes that route, WRU is back in full force.

Enos would be an excellent fit with CJP style and it would be a higher paying promotion. Can go both ways on run and passing games. Been in collegiate coaching longer than Pruitt even.

I think McClendon would be willing to take the gig for a substantial raise not because its a better program @BassmasterVol #moneytalks
the problem with Mcclendon is that he fancies himself as a HC, probably sooner than later. at some point, i do think continuity/consistency, has to be a factor.

Mcclendon would be a good hire. good recruiter. just not sure it's quite the match we may need. would feel more like a band aid.....

Not even 24 hours and seems like it’s been weeks. This is 2018, I want my new OC NOW!

That would be a concern.

Do ya'll think that the longer it takes to announce the more likely it is that its just a promotion from within? I wouldn't imagine Pruitt going to visit offensive players with no structure in mind.

I think what I really mean is Im afraid Will Friend got promoted lol

My sources tell me that Dooley doesn't flush so I would expect @Chief Vol 13 to throw his support that way.
Let's be honest Dool's was a terrible head coach for us but Mizzou's offense has been pretty dang solid this year, I'm sure a lot of that is due to the fact Lock is a top notch QB but we could do worse than Dooley at OC (even though I know he's not being looked at as an option and I may get flamed for the previous statement)

Dooley is a good offensive Mind. There’s no denying that.

I don’t think the time frame gives you any good information as you can spin it any way you like. I’d personally like to see someone with a lot of experience that can head coach the offense instead of trying to bring in another great recruiter. It seems we have enough of those, and what we need is to see a competent offense.

Yea, that was more thrown at Chief than Dooley. I agree Dooley has done a nice job there this year. Will be interesting to see if it continues next year.
