Yes, he is a hypocrite. The truth is, we all are in some form or another.
Has anyone looked at what he has done since being fired at Old Miss?
He has worked to restore his marriage and his family situation. He has spoken honestly about his "transgressions," without going into details. He has moved on.
Should he be the next OC? Not my job to decide.
I would support him if he is chosen.

What if he was to be hired at Bama? Would you still have this warm feeling towards him?

Never said I had warm feelings for him. I think he has done the right things to move on with his life and he deserves a second chance.
Whether we hire him or not, matters little to my daily life.
If he was hired by Bama, I would say we missed our chance at a good OC.
I think he has done the right things to rectify his life and to be hired by a program needing a great offense oriented mind. Right now, I think that describes us.

It is what it is. I said 6-6 would be a tremendous season. Its not a good team at all. I know many will disagree and say its excuses but Butch left Pruitt with a steaming pile of nothing.

Helton's style was soft, he and Pruitt clashed early I feel as nothing soft about CJP. He may be great but coach desperately needs an experienced play caller ar this time. Needs to turn over the defensive playcalling as well I feel but that's a different debate.

The SEC is going to do everything they can to protect Bama, always have always will. Freeze and Malzahn are the only two SEC coaches that can and have notched victories over Saban's Tide. If Freeze has indeed turned things around on a personal level and PF and CJP wants him, then they should full court press the SEC and get him.
