More I think about fit and style Pruitt is going to want the more I think the realistic names are Enos, Lindsey, McElwain, Probst, Friend/Weinke combo with a promotion of Osovet or Lilly to fill time assistant moving either johnson to RB coach and Osovet to WRs or Neids to RB and Lilly to TE.

Pruitt is going to want someone that can fit into that room that everyone trust and is on same page. Helton was sort of the outsider. Friend/Weinke/Lilly/Neids are familiar with Pruitts wants. Johnson being WR coach doesn't matter what system. Any of those guys above would be able to fit into that room and run the style of offense Pruitt and that group wants to run which is that Pro Style Bama/Richt/UGA/Fisher principles.

Mac Florida issue just were odd offensively. His first 2 years you could see him scheme people wide open all day but they would just miss execution and then all of a sudden it clicked with Grier and they went HAM then he got in trouble and it was over. Bailey and Mac have a connection and Florida was always considered the favorite to land him until he left and now he just happens to be at Michigan. Curious if that will come into play
Johnson stays at WR coach. Improved the position and it requires much more hands on teaching than RB’s.

Just like anything at VN, something that is funny once or twice gets repeated ad nauseum. Kind of like my 10 year old nephew and the jokes he makes

Edit--talking about the stupid Pruitt lifting weights tweet from Rucker

Kingston, or anyone, correct me if I’m wrong but Pruitt wanted McClendon the first time around when he was assembling the staff. You would assume he would want a big bump in pay because Muschamp convinces him not to leave.

Also keep an eye out for Jim McElwain for OC.

Thanks, I'll be on the lookout.

Yea that pro style is obsolete

Hope you enjoy watching that game in Atlanta Saturday
This!

You've got to remember CJP had essentially no tools this year for his system. And a lot of people are expecting him to rebuild a Ford Pinto and transform it into a Shelby 350 GT. With no tools.....

So the east winner ran an obsolete offense?

They had such an insane talent advantage they could do that. I don’t see us having that against them any time in the foreseeable future. Until we have an innovative offense, we won’t beat them at their own game with that talent disparity.

Maybe it would more accurate to call it “soon to be obsolete” football. Makes no sense to me to double down on it with the way the game has, and will continue to, evolve.

I think it's really foolish to talk pro style vs spread these days.
Imo it's fast pace throw it all over the yard vs huddle up spread it out and be balanced.

Imo all Pruitt wants is someone that doesn't want to play up tempo
