Highly doubt we promote from within. If Pruitt wanted Friend as OC why not make him OC a year ago?

Pruitt and Fulmer know they have to get this right. A lot of good options out there, you have to go get one. Throw $2mil/yr at Kingsbury/Freeze/Briles that type of guy and go recruit!

That guy is a message board reader. Lol. Nothing more. He found some gold with the Florida credit card stuff and that’s it. Everything else he’s piggy backed off of.

Haha I could see that as being very accurate. I'm not promoting him but I'd rather listen to him than anyone from the State run station.

It's actually a legitimate journalist/reporter tactic. Hang around in the right circles and pretend you have sources and info. Then other people trust you more and are more likely to become a source for you themselves. People like to feel important.

He released Pruitts contract info before anyone else and got credited for it. I’m sure he got that info from here too

This!!! I'm not saying Pruitt/Freeze brings a Natty to Knoxville but failing with Freeze is totally different than failing with Friend imo. Let's not try to over think this.

Wallace proved last offseason that he's just a step above Bassilio. Dude reports just about everything he hears and either doesn't do a good job vetting his info or doesn't have the most reliable sources.

It doesn't take an insider to know Hugh would be interested in being TN OC. The question is does Pruitt want and will TN and SEC approve.

Hugh has spent a lot of time in this state. Loves TN. Would basically be HC of offense. He makes so much sense from a football standpoint and his Memphis/West TN ties. The guy snuck into our stadium when was younger. Of Course he is interested.

I'm actually starting to think we have a legitimate shot at Freeze, if the SEC will allow. I'm ready to see the SEC start giving Tennessee the treatment they used to back in the Kramer days.

I think it is worth noting that if he is making is known he wants the job he knows there is no written SEC issue.
If there was an issue he would be laying low right now

I used to say I'd be ok with 9 win seasons, as long as we were doing it the right way. After the last 2 seasons, I say screw it, lets bring in all the scum, cheat, and win some freaking ball games. I'm so tired of losing, and being embarrassed for wearing my Vols gear.

If not freeze I’m all in on Enos. I think he’s a good coach and would be a great fit with this staff
