"I think the Hugh Freeze stuff has some legs"

Freeze is a proven SEC commodity and having him running the offense allows Pruitt to put all his focus back on the D. It just makes too much damn sense

This is Tennessee , they dont do nothing that makes sense. So we can throw the Freeze talk out. We are getting the OC from the high school ranks and throw everybody off.

What Freeze did was scummy as hell but the man should be allowed a chance to redeem himself imo. I believe the rewards he could bring to our offense is worth the risk. Put him on a short leash and give him an opportunity to turn his career around.
If he wasn't raping kids then let him come here and rehab himself. Stay a couple of years and get hired back as a HC somewhere.

I refuse to allow myself to get excited on the possibility of this. I won't believe it til I see it. UT doesn't make splashy hires.

Freeze would be pretty great if we can persuade the SEC to let us. A bit surprised though since it is a very different style than Pruitt has said he wants. But then again, it might fit our personnel better?

how so Chad Kelly was a pro style qb

Tennessee football has nothing to lose. The program has been rock bottom for a few years. Hire him!

Hugh Freeze wants the position too.

saw that Auburn may want him as well. I wonder which one would be more appealing. If people think Pruitt would handcuff him, how in the world would you not think Gus Malzahn would be far worse?

Malzahn and Freeze are close friends. There were rumors about him going to Auburn around the beginning of October.

I'm not convinced of that yet. He has a few program who are interested in bringing him on, including Auburn where he BFF is the head coach.
