My biggest surprise would be that Pruitt would consider an "Air Raid" guy, but I actually think Freeze would be great with JG. JG has the tools to play in an Air Raid offense (more likely a more run-oriented version of the Air Raid if we went that way). And two of our projected backups (Maurer, Shrout) would as well.

He would have to get approval from the SEC and I have doubts that he would get it. There were rumors that Saban tried to hire him last year and the SEC blocked him.

I can get on board with Freeze..... As others have mentioned, if Petrino can get multiple chances at redemption I don't see why TN can't put Freeze on a short leash and have at it.

What Freeze did was scummy as hell but the man should be allowed a chance to redeem himself imo. I believe the rewards he could bring to our offense is worth the risk. Put him on a short leash and give him an opportunity to turn his career around.

What happens if he can't keep his nose clean? We will be right back in this constant chaos we have been in for over a decade again, with potential negative baggage thrown in on top of it.
