He’s coached under jimbo and Saban who don’t either. So i don’t think that is a requirement for him.

Well that is a plus cause I can see why CP feels like controlling everything when your neck is on the line but I think once he gets a OC that proves he can do it and fits, then I can see him relaxing a bit if you will.

We'll take a grad transfer QB if Pruitt can get one he likes. Would be a late signee that enrolls in the summer and counts against 2020. Wouldn't be surprised to see Pruitt try for Hurts.

We could bring in a grad transfer on the OL to attract a high caliber QB-- depending on how the OL looks coming out of spring. Carvin and JJohnson will improve with more S&C, Kennedy should be ready to go for spring practice and Morris will benefit from spring practice, as well.

Perhaps, but that would not have helped the offense this season because UT doesn't currently have a DT QB, much less one of Tua's ir Hurts' caliber.

Well, I’ve seen teams run aspects of the RPO and the QB not necessarily be a runner. It’s really more of a quick release to the RB in the flat, quick pass to the WR on a slant or a deep route by the outside WR. I believe USC has been doing it. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to go full spread offense again, but just have the ability to spread a team out and get the ball to our playmakers quickly. It seems this year we either threw it up for grabs or ran into the back of a lineman Sanchez style. Lol.

What about Kelly Bryant?

Pure speculation: Barn OC -Chip Lindsey. Buddies from Alabama high school days. Auburn's been unhappy with the O this season. They go after Freeze and other big names, we settle on Pruitt being comfortable with a friend. I hate Mahlzahn's O.
100 million dollar budget. And we always try to find a diamond in the rough. Take some of that damn money and go to Jared’s and buy the biggest diamond in the store.

Exactly. We have the money to get whoever we want and, heck, we paid Helton 1.2 mil. Surely we can entice a major coordinator for that kind of money, right?
