I'm not saying he's a bad coach. I don't think he's a shoe in for coach of the year. I mean they did lose to UGA, UK and Missouri in games that they were dominated. We handed them a victory from the opening kick. FSU was their hardest non-conference game which is a joke. I'd say their schedule was exactly a walk in the park. A UF fan I work with even said that before the season started. He said anything less than 10 win would be a failure. I don't think they finish with the same results if their schedule was anything close to ours.

That really makes no sense. You just won 4 games so you’re expecting 10 wins or bust.... lol Florida fans.

As silly as it sounds he was right though... Take out being out coached in the Kentucky game and they have 10 wins.

They won @state and vs LSU....both of those are very good wins. You’re gonna have slip ups with in a coaches first year which is what Kentucky was. Our schedule was tougher but not by that much. We still miss a bowl game with their schedule probably.

Florida also returned the half of their roster that got suspended for the credit card scam. They started off last season all wrong and never recovered from it. Their record that year had very little to do with talent and a whole lot to do with off-the-field shenanigans (they'd won the East the prior two years).

Hooker is an idiot. He's a fellow Powell High Alum so it's ok that I say that. But he truly is an idiot if he thinks Vandy is a significant recruiting threat to the Vols. If that's the case then we'll be firing up the Gruden threads in about three years.
