The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

Asking this with complete sincerity even though it’s almost impossible to not have it come across as snarky but...are we supposed to care what this woman has to say on the matter? Maybe I’m just ignorant or uninformed but I have no idea who she is or if her opinion carries any weight.

I have no idea who she is. It popped up on my timeline but I didn’t pay attention to who retweeted it. So yeah, totally valid point you have. Although it’s a totally believable tweet by her.

She knows a guy that is a friend of a guy that bought her a beer once in 2013.

Re-thinking this idea of giving everyone a voice with an open internet, they are...

Currently has a good defense btw

Yeah Butch was the reason Shoop wasn’t good here.

Has had an amazing defense every where but UT and in year one at MSU.

That's my point. You can't just plug these guys in and assume that a theoretical upgrade will immediately manifest itself on the field. If Helton leaves then these guys will have had four OCs in four years. It's no wonder JG sometimes looks like he has no idea what's going on.

Having Boswell in all my leagues just gave me my first ever fantasy TD pass from the kicker position. Wasn’t even sure how that was going to be calculated.

I was always a bit skeptical of Helton because he had Sam freaking Darnold and talented WR’s at USC. I like the idea of Kitchens but Cleveland actually looks solid right now.

I hear you, but I’d take a chance on a home run hire like Freeze. Dude had Bo Wallace looking like an all American at times. He can call plays and gamelan around his skill guys strengths. Helton has to go

I know I’ve asked you this before, but didn’t you play for Freeze?

I'd have fewer misgivings about somebody like Freeze, but even then unless he brings three junior offensive linemen with him I'm not sure how much difference it'll make. I just don't think change for the sake of change is a great idea when you're trying to build and stabilize a program, and I don't think offensive playcalling is anywhere near the top of the list of things that are holding this team back.

Really not trying to defend Helton himself here; I've seen nothing to indicate that he's particularly good. I'm just in favor of stability unless Pruitt's absolutely sure that he's got an immediate and clear upgrade.

I’m sure Helton is fine and I’m 100% behind the OL being atrocious but we called way too many plays that had a 0% chance of success given the limitations of the players involved. It’s like we didn’t adapt to anything. It was butch jones with the justin worley “read option”

Well, that's kinda what worries me. Maybe that wasn't Helton as much as it was Pruitt saying, "This is what we're gonna do, we're gonna be a smashmouth running team" etc etc etc just like Jones was hellbent on running an idiot's version of Oregon's offense.
