I understand but no excuses for that kid not to see the field..No wr has matched his production from last year..A kid with that much experience last year and played as a true freshman its no excuses..Nothing yall can tell me..I heard that Pruitt gonna release alot of players..Maybe Brandon one of them..Im not sure..

You're biased, as I obviously would be if my family was on the team.

There might not be an "excuse" for him to not see the field.... but there was a reason. If he stays next year, I hope everyone figures it out and he can contribute. If he does go elsewhere, I wish him nothing but the best.

The three wr u named didnt match brandon numbers from last year..That only tell u more about ur head coach..Jennings didnt come close..

LOL! Of course Jennings didn't come close. He was hurt in the first game against GT and didn't play the rest of the season.

Look, I like Brandon a lot and thought he was UT's most consistent receiver last season and am sorry his playing time was reduced, but Jennings is a bigger, more physical possession receiver who has good hands and who is also an excellent blocker. Callaway and Palmer are more of deep threats than Brandon. And as long as Jennings was healthy he was going to start over Brandon. And it was difficult for Brandon to play in front of Callaway and Palmer this season because they were both productive on the long ball and both were more physical receivers who could win the 50/50 battles for jump balls, which was necessary with JG's seeming inability to place the ball over his receiver's head on the deep throws. Brandon had the length, but he never struck me as being a physical receiver. Anyway, I am sorry for him.

If Jennings and Callaway both leave, I believe BJ can have a big year next year, if he does what's asked from now, through spring, and fall. Opportunity is there, does he choose to take advantage of it? That's the question.

The problem with BJ is that his skill set is redundant with MC and JJ and both are better outside, possession receivers (bonus that MC has down-the-field jump ball abilities too). He's got good hands and route running abilities, but he doesn't have elite speed or tackle-breaking abilities. We lacked speed and agility. That's why Palmer and even Murphy were getting on the field more. They have much better speed and agility than BJ.

Several sources have indicated that former Mississippi head coach Hugh Freeze is the frontrunner to replace Sanford, while former Western Kentucky assistant coaches Brian Brohm and JaMarcus Shephard have inquired about the position. The latter two are assistants at Purdue.

Former Cincinnati and Tennessee head coach Butch Jones and current Tennessee offensive coordinator Tyson Helton are also names that will be in the mix.

Thats why Tennessee has lost so many games because of the 50/50 ball..Tennessee is probabably the only program that values 50/50 ball..When somebody gonna run a double move, Post Patters, Or even Dig Routes..U dont see none of that....This same fan base was down on Preston Williams but this dude caught 98 balls and had almost 1400 yards wr this season..Jalen hurd had 69 catches for 946 yards this season..Thats what u call production..

What does matching last yr numbers have to do with it? Palmer wasn't as good as he was this year. There was no Jennings. Callaway missed games at times with injury. So there were more balls available. This year there were more players and you got a one read QB basically. Johnson is a good player but quit with the dumb excuses and reasonings. Zero question to who the top 3 playmakers were at WR. Your bias

So was Dan Mullen's players he seemed to do ok. I think Pruitt can be good but i dont think he will ever be on the level as Florida or Georgia or obviously Bama. I guess we will see
Not making excuses but when we start talking about Mullen and the Gators let's not forget to factor in their schedule..... This year's schedule set up well for them.

You got an OL that could block long enough for double moves and post routes? Nobody was down on Preston Williams smh. We all knew our staff blew that
