How forgetful we are! Brandon Johnson was putting up great numbers for someone that didn’t even start, catching the ball everytime he was thrown to,that’s a lot more I can say than for some of these other starting receivers, his playing time decreased not because of production but because of his size,Pruitt wants Alabama like receivers which makes him picky and I don’t think he’s in any great position to do that,he needs to get the best players at every position on the field.Brandon was one of those players with experience at the position.
Alabama receivers aren’t big lol

Our players aren’t very good. They’re slow, they’re small, they’re weak, and to top it off, a lot of them are quitters. That’s a fact.

Pruitt did not have a perfect year 1. He’s made some mistakes. But if you want to judge him off of this year with this cast of characters, you’re making a mistake.

So was Dan Mullen's players he seemed to do ok. I think Pruitt can be good but i dont think he will ever be on the level as Florida or Georgia or obviously Bama. I guess we will see

Pretty sure I know who you’re talking about. And I think it has more to do with the previous two years than quitting. I’ll use Kongbo as an example, trashed by fans since he arrived, chances are if he didn’t get hurt he’d be one that “quit” the final two games.... He was crying during senior day, that’s not a sign of someone who doesn’t care
He was playing better..he was improving, and I don't think he would have been out there yesterday going through the ghost motions like those two pukes were. I don't think Kirk and Tut quit, they are just too broken down. I don't think BB quit he is just still too Butch soft. I don't think the two FR CBs quit...I just think they hit the very real and notorious freshman wall two weeks ago.

Maybe..but same difference..
I appreciate Smokey's defense of the players but interviews of other players implied in games.
Depth has indeed limited our ability to sit everyone having issues but I believe options are the best motivator.
We need a really good class. They don't have to be day 1 starters, just true "options".

Florida's players weren't as small and removed from S&C as ours. Nor were they used to having it easy in those areas.
At least nothing I ever read suggested what you are saying?

There were plenty that were improving as the year went on. Buchanan, Abernathy, Kirkland, Jordan, ect. That doesn’t stop the fans from trashing them. I Think Kongbo would be in the same boat, he was improved but didn’t reach his potential. Wouldn’t have done anything vs Mizzou’s great Oline and fans would question whether he checked out early

Some days great QBs just beat you..especially when you have zero interior pass rush, slow as molasses LBs, inexperienced CBs, and soft, unmotivated Safeties.
Don’t see Bentley or Shurmer as great. Won’t even get into Feleipe Franks.

Checking out early to save yourself to go pro is getting called out by the TV crew for not sealing your edge and whiffing your blocking. He also didn't show much max effort in grabbing some balls that were snagged just a few games ago. Meanwhile, his counterpart across the field is playing injured and giving his all because he hates to lose and hates vandy.

He had three straight first down drops early this year and suddenly fell out of the rotation after that. They were bad drops.

Panthers lose 3rd straight. TN loses 2 straight to end the season.

I think football hates me right now.

Didn't decrease because of production? Smh more excuse making. Maybe it didn't decrease because of his production it sure as hell did because of Callaway, Palmer and Jennings stepping up theirs. He got beat out plain and simple and sounds like pouted his way to 4th and 5th string the way his backers talk
