Serious question, was Helton trying to get fired yesterday? I’ve never seen worse play calling in my life. It felt like he was trying to lose the damn game. Rumor going around that he hates it here. Maybe he wants that guaranteed money so he can get paid while finding an new home

I keep seeing these kinds of posts, and you might be right, but I see a situation where no call is going to be a good call sometimes. When the line can't (or won't) block, what are supposed to do?

The line blocked better yesterday, just like they did against Auburn, USC, and UK. Is it the chicken or the egg? Yes, the line isn’t great, but you have to put them in position to try to succeed. Some scheming is involved.

If the coaches treated the players they are planning to cull so poorly that is created a toxic culture on this team that's a major mistake. It cost them a bowl game and a lot of support. Ticket sales will be at an modern day low next year and the vibe around this program is damaged

Bad mistake

Big learning year for Pruitt. He seemed a tad less snarky yesterday. But you know if wanted to run the veer, why didn't he run the veer? Pro-style or die seemed to founder.

Can't just blame the players for these losses. Coaches are definitely part of the blame. That Vandy ass whooping was definitely Dooley-esque and our team has shown the ability to play much better.

It sucks about Helton because now we will have our 4th OC in 4 years. How can an offense be successful like that?
