Ok...who thinks this team is actually

This is all on Fulmer...He hand picked this guy to be his clone and run his style of football and it failed horribly...We could've had Mike Leach but no he went out and got some guy who has never been a head coach before and threw him into the fire known as UT football in the SEC...I really don't know what to think anymore...He made some really mind boggling decisions this season...Fulmer isn't known for hand picking coaches if you guys will remember...Most of his success came with Cutcliffe by his side...What does that tell you?

Better coached this year than last? I don’t care about the records, but this is garbage football 100%. There is zero scheming going on, on our side of the call. Helton and Sherrer are pure garbage and I honestly am done with them both.

And don’t even get me started on how terrible JG is. That kid wouldn’t start for a single other SEC team.
JG would start at Arkansas

At one point I did. But, we have looked sluggish and ill prepared the last two games. We've regressed and look terrible on both sides of the ball. Pruitt better work a miracle in recruiting or he won't be here long.
This time 2 years from now his firing will be announced and we’ll be starting yet another coaching search. He’s clearly not the guy. Nobody on this team wanted to play for him. Undisciplined and poorly schemed all year long. No positives to take away from this season. All downhill and picking up steam. I was with him until today, but it’s clear he can’t get it done here. But of course, this is Tennessee, so no one can.

It sure feels that way. UK and Barn may have been overrated but they were at least as good as Vandy and Mizz. To perform this badly with a bowl on the line is just unacceptable. I'd love to know what changed after UK.

I think they are much better coached. If butch and staff were here this year I feel confident we’d been 3-9.

If my son was a D1 qb, there’s no way in hell I’d let him anywhere near Tennessee and it’s fool, irrational fanbase. There’s a reason no former QBs really have anything to do with Tennessee/don’t come back here. Peyton is the only one really, maybe Dobbs too. But Tee, Clausen, Crompton, Bray, Worley, etc, etc all stay away. Wonder why?

Are they better coached than last year? If you look at it as a whole season, I would say yes. Have this coaching staff made huge mistakes this year? Absolutely. But, a first time HC, with a rookie OC and DC are going to make those mistakes. However, there have been some flashes of really good coaching.

And just as many or more flashes of terrible coaching.

Pruitt simply does not know how to coach and has a very low football IQ. This is painfully obvious. A coach must use a scheme that fits the players. Pruitt failed with his schemes all year long. Second Pruitt has failed to make any in-game adjustments on the defensive side all year long. I am baffled by the complete absence of Defensive adjustments. Third Pruitt has been a horrible leader and manager of this team. I cannot see how any educated Parent would ever let his or her son play for this guy. Pruitt reminds me of the coach memphis had before hiring Feuntes.

Hand picked? I must have been watching a different coaching search than you. You make it sound like Fulmer was brushing aside top tier coaches until he found 'the one'.

Hell, I recall hoping that I wouldn't turn on SC just to hear another coach had turned us down.

This is the dumbest post of the season. Really Pruitt just doesn’t know how to coach LOL

Fulmer did not go after ANY top tier coaches....Not one...It came down to 2 assistant coaches for the job and he got the one he liked the best...Yeah, Hand picked

I want someone that's complaining about coaching to tell me what would you call. On offense what throw more? They can't pass protect. Run more they can't run block. More play action qb gets hit. More what wr can't run crisp patterns to get open because they are slow and dont get separation. All they really do well is jump balls. So please all you coaches tell me what in the hell is the staff supposed to do. Because honestly I don't have a clue.
Insert a qb that can run would be a good place to start.

That’s like having to chose who to sleep with between Rosie ODonnell and Whoopi Goldberg. Both were bad and complete embarrassments.

We suck, we did under Dooley, we did under butch and we do under Pruitt. Many will say I’m dumb or he needs time or whatever, but then again those same people are the same brain dead morons who backed both of the guys I just mentioned way past backing so I honestly don’t give a **** what those idiots have to say to me.

Maybe Tee, Bray and Clausen have jobs far away from Knox? No question Tees relationship is a little estranged and maybe Bray. Shuler comes to most games as does Crompton I believe. I don’t know about Worley. Dobb’s came when Pitt was off.

ONLY AT TENNESSE. Everywhere else it takes 3 games. No blue font
Exactly... I mean come on!!! Last game of the season after having an off season with these guys and still no mild progress? Jesus I wish some of you guys were my boss in real life! I wouldn’t even have to ****ing show up to work and you guys would just make excuses for me.
