I rewatched this play a few times on the DVR after it happened. Woke up this morning still pissed about the outcome . I hate how Turner and Bone disappear in the game sometimes. We have 8 minute gaps in both halves where no one can hit a shot. We need someone coming off the bench to help out.
Sorry had to vent.....if we lose the game today, I might grab the xmas tree we just put up and throw it out the window into the front yard.

Turner will be that person coming off the bench when he fully gets back.

Bone
Bowden
Schofield
Williams
Alexander

Turner is your punch off the bench.

That your only takeaway from the game? Our biased fans complaining about the officiating? Here are my observations from the game:

We good.
We did not shoot it well from 3 and let them shoot above 50% in the second half. That is why we lost, IMO.
Oh yeah.

We good.

We didn't shoot particularly well inside either for much of the game. UT missed a lot of open shots inside and out. KU hit a lot of contested shots and simply outshot UT. Down the stretch in regulation UT started jacking 3s up early in the shot with no ball movement. The offense had no flow down the stretch. Grant had a great game but hurt his team by following out in crunch time. But this was a good game for the Vols. They showed they can go toe to toe with the big boys in a final four type environment, and they saw areas where they need improvement. This team is legit.

The refs didn’t beat us. Kansas didn’t either. Poor shot selection and ice cold game from Schofield/Turner did. Schofield settling for too many jumpers

Especially this. Other than Admiral they worked hard enough to win the game in regulation, but you have to shoot the ball better. The refs were the refs, they nearly always side with the blue bloods.

Barnes' Boys always respond well to adversity. This will give CRB more ammunition to stay in their grills with the Gonzaga game coming up soon.

Yea, I was just referencing another poor call. I used to officiant at a young age and at a low, low level. It’s not easy, but the inconsistency in today’s game is so frustrating. Can bang down low but will call ticky tack fouls. Also, some officials anticipate before things happen, and they aren’t trained to do that.

We certainly had our chances last night, and I would have liked Schofield to go down low more. We missed too many early shots. The free throw disparity in OT was ridiculous.

I want to say goodbye to my best friend. My Father died last night. No tears but would appreciate prayers. His name was Michael. He’s a Marine and was a good man, Excellent Grandfather and most importantly my Dad. He has been through hell since June including losing both legs and having 4 other surgeries. He kept fighting. Thanks to all of you for being the parts of my day to put the serious stuff aside. It helps more than you know.

Praying for you and your family. God is near the broken hearted.

Sounds like a man we wish we all could have known. So sorry to hear this. It’s never easier around the holidays either. May you be flooded with good memories, find the time to appropriately grieve, and also honor this man. Thankful for his service to our country.

I am so sorry for your loss...looking forward to meeting him on the other side

Agreed. We still seem to miss a lot of bunnies. Admiral was great in OT, but before that, he shot it terribly and just did not play all that well. Grant was beasting until he fouled out. He was unstoppable until that bad sequence where he tried to pass instead of finish and then fouled out on the other end. I think we are capable of playing much better and that is a very good sign. We took the number 2 team in the country to OT playing pretty far below our best.

This dog has been running loose in my neighborhood for about a month now. Very beautiful pup. I live down in Ellijay GA. Please, any of you come get it. It'll die sooner or later from the traffic or from the pits that run around. I can't take it in or I would. I've been feeding it to keep it close.

Down 26% on TNT
“NBA viewership train keeps rolling. Through conference semifinals, league is up 2% across all national TV partners. Conference semifinals viewership (ABC+TNT+ESPN) was best for that round since 2013. NBA playoff games have now been top primetime telecast on TV on 21 of 26 nights”
Maybe if you are talking about regular season.

He had a good game, and is playing well. Wish he would take a few more shots during the streaky periods. I don't think Turner is back to 100% or is a little rusty. We also need help other than the top 6 players. Felt like we were the better team last night.
He seems to be able to get to the rim pretty much at will. He is playing better than last year. He does need to shoot a little more

Take him to a no kill shelter. A loving family will snatch him right up. He’s beautiful.

Talking about currently. No ****. There’s nothing else to watch in the time finals are on. NBA is garbage.
