Sounds like you're talking about Josh Dobbs....
The difference is that by Dobbs' 3rd year he started to improve a good bit. He did have that problem early and especially being unable to throw receivers open.

However Dobbs had that great equalizer. When everything else fell apart... he took off for big runs. That's not JG's game either.

My hope is that JG at some point will start to "get it". My growing concern is that he doesn't have the innate talent to "get it". Just like some guys can't throw the ball 60 yards on target... some guys can't read D's or anticipate throws.

He also was in shotgun most of his time where as it looks like they want to run under center with jg. In shotgun you can hit a receiver in a quick slant and some short throws faster because you are already back there and can see the play develop. Under center you see the field, look away from the field, then have to find the open receiver where as in shot gun you don't lose that time trying to reassess the field to find the open receiver. You have been looking at it the whole time. The play calling is different when they put KC in opposed to JG. I wish we would run more 5-10 yard slant/post routes and it seems as if they did that while KC was in the game.
You kind of made my point though I think you'd be hard pressed to prove this is a major factor. The playcalling is different when JG is in because of what he CANNOT do.... pretty much what I've been talking about for a while. Opposing D's can see it too.

No. He's not playing like a 2nd year college QB. Lots of 1st year college players read D's and throw receivers open better than JG does.
Define "lots of 1st year college players" because there are very few freshman or RS freshmen QB's starting at P5 teams. Not saying JG should not improve because every QB can improve, just think you exaggerated a bit much....

Good grief... of course I would be talking about the subset who actually start. If that's all you've got... wow.

There's a spray you can get at the coop for the ladybugs. It's a God send. Mix it in a sprayer and spray your house.
I need more info on this...we have them like crazy every year. They started within the past week or two and will be around most of the winter.

It's important to do it NOW! I can't remember the name of it but you can ask the coop. The bugs are trying to find a nesting spot for the winter. Get them now and it will drive them out. Works on stinkbugs too. It's easy to apply unless you have a two story because you have to spray it all.

What did Butch do to Bob Shoop? How could even he take a top DC and cause him to break records for yards given up at TN? How is that even possible?
Good questions. Amazes me he won as much as he did. His first staff seamed to work better with him, maybe he trusted them with their jobs. Hard to understand ???

Didn’t let him hire his guys and forced him to use lingo from the previous defense mixed with his. Then injuries piled up. Horrible combination

After seeing Chryst for a whole game Saturday you’re still beating this dead horse? The whole “Chryst can read the defense better than jg” argument should be dead. I believe that Chryst knows exactly who he is gonna throw the ball to when he breaks the huddle and he didn’t do anything to prove otherwise on Saturday. There were points we left on the field simply because he didn’t go through his progressions on the drive where we only got a fg. Go back and watch the drive and you’ll see. That pass to Jennings was a thing of beauty and he will throw a guy open but that doesn’t mean he can read a defense because if he could he would’ve never thrown those deep balls to Calloway. I’m not here to say that he’s not a better qb than jg, they both do things the other can’t do, but when it comes to reading a defense presnap, I don’t think either one has a clue
