KC is never going to be a great QB. JG could be one of the best if he could just master the mental part of the game.

The OL is a problem. But it isn't as much of a problem as the JG apologists claim. If he read D's and got the ball out then he wouldn't be getting hit as often. If he hit some hot routes and hurt some D's... they'd stop throwing those types of blitzes against him.

Did you notice what Lock did when UT tried to blitz him? He saw it coming and hit his hot receiver before the D could react. UT had to stop calling those blitzes. I truly wish we saw that out of JG but we don't.

So you're saying he is not playing like a first round draft choice QB. Ok

MSU game next year will be a dog fight. Defense vs Defense. Turnovers and maybe a special teams play probably decide it.

Another year in that system. Similar situation as we have. We may be losing our DL but I expect our defense to improve next year. Tougher to expect that MSt D to improve, but I’m not expecting much drop off either.

They’ll definitely drop a decent amount losing Sweat and Simmons. Their defense was historically good, it wasn’t like Shoop took an average defense and made them elite

This is the thing... if Butch says, “Handle the defense Bob, i’ll be out recruiting and hiring a strength coach and proven OC if you need me.” He’s probably still here with no worse than back to back 7-8 win seasons
