Rocky sucks
Have you seen the original? Best Picture Oscar winner 1976. Stallone wrote it while he was homeless and was a nobody. It spawned an entire generation of underdog sports movies. Literally created the genre. Maybe worth watching if you haven't. If you have, and you think it sucked....... Well, bless your heart.

LOL.. Fools. HAHAHA.

Glad I don't have any embarrassing posts... like, ever.

Tony Robbins tells an amazing story that sounds completely apocryphal, but he says it is from Stallone himself.

DISCLAIMER: Tony can use some salty language, and I can't recall if there is any in it, so decide for yourself if that's a personal issue. From memory, I would say there is not.

Thank you so much for sharing this. A truly amazing story and it was truly an amazing movie.

My wife had a pulmonary embolism right after we got married. It not only almost killed her, but in MINUTES. They are a huge deal.
Oh, I know. I had 3 clots in my lungs, and they kept me knocked out in ICU for a week. I just didn't understand his terminology of them hitting the lungs since mine were inside and going to the brain was what they were worried about.

Patient little grasshopper.....

I still can’t believe Morris was that bad this year.
that probably wouldn't have been a bad combo deal truthfully speaking. but...i'd rather have that as my OC/DC combo, and probably someone else as HC.....

but Arkansas is probably one of the few teams that was in as bad or worse shape as us, roster wise. who do they have that you've heard of? really?

Arkansas is just a tough place to win today. he's putting together a solid class this season. it'll be interesting to see what htey look like 3-4 years as well.

There was a big turn on this board. The first half of the coaching search was everyone saying that Currie is a ninja, a superstar, who wouldn’t let money stop him from hiring the best coach in the world. Heck, we might even get Gruden. If not Gruden, we’ll pay Chris Petersen 10 mil to coach here! We were confident.

Then there was the other half after we learned that Currie was an incompetent fraud being ordered around by Haslam and his ilk and that he didn’t care about winning at all, just money and buildings. During the Schiano/borin Doeren debacle, we would have taken almost anyone else. We went from confident to desperate real quick. Thankfully papaw Phil saved us.

I agree. I think Morris would have done better here this year than he has Arkansas. Our players would fit his system better than what he currently has. I’m pretty sure it’s the polar opposite in terms of roster makeup in terms of size, speed, and skill.

That was the concern with my wife as well. Clots to the brain.

You must have been a different board than the rest of us...

i think Morris has a lot of the same questions Pruitt does, minus the hardware to come along with it.

Morris always felt like a candidate you'd have to talk yourself into.

and while pruitt was that as well, to a much lesser degree imo, he at least checked a few more boxes, from a recruiting standpoint, P5/SEC Championship pedigree....
