It was "Nayland Stadium" when I was growing up. I haven't checked, but whatever John Ward pronounced it as is what it is, IMO.

I remember reading something like that in one of Johnny Major's books. I think he said that Neyland's wife was always making sure people pronounced it Kneeland and would point to her knee when she corrected them.
