Pruitt talked with Neyland Jr. after Kentucky win

TLDR version: He only talked about new coach talking points 101, ie, "needs his own players", "going to take 3 years", ect.

I bet the players are feeling really confident in themselves always being told they are "Butch's" players and thus are second class.

Are you casting aspersions on my mama?

My guess is you get your arse kicked often

Besides, you are no longer a stranger you have shown your stripes

I'm casting aspersions on you and on your ability to not act like white trash, so you must not have paid attention to your mother.

I love that even Neyland Jr is roasting the players that Butch recruited lol. Thanks for sharing.

Yep nothing like making fun of the players in Orange. WooHoo by gawd. Bunch of losers!!

Of course Neyland Jr didn't roast or make fun of them. He simply stated that CJP wasn't playing with his players yet. You're a sad little fellow to infer that he was "roasting" the guys that have busted their asses while you sit behind your computer screen exhausting yourself tapping on the keyboard.

Trust me ....it's Nayland. Played ball with Reese who is close to the General in some capacity,( grandson ?),
and always heard it that way starting 53 years ago. We can choose either but that's just the way I heard it.
PS..Reese was Robert Jrs. son.... the General's grandson.

Hmmm

Not sure if i can find it but Mama Neyland made the statement many years back the it was pronounced Knee-land.

Here is the link from a 2013 Knoxville News article

“KNEE-land or NAY-land?”

Pruitt has said that there are only 5 seniors playing. Trading those for 25 new players will help a lot. It isn't so much Butch's players, but lack thereof.

You might want to read the article that is the topic of this thread.

Now we are learning a lot about you. You will have no strangers on this board. The only people I know who use the term white trash are extreme racists.

Neyland himself said it was Kneeland, pointing to his knee when he said it.

I remember reading something like that in one of Johnny Major's books. I think he said that Neyland's wife was always making sure people pronounced it Kneeland and would point to her knee when she corrected them.

No its not. Even his family is on record as saying Knee-land. Everyone that grew up in Knoxville knows it's Knee land.

We're not all useless chief.

Plus the people I have the most trouble with in my business- the ones that are surprisingly lazy and entitled- are boomers.

So that's my take.
I don't believe that anyone said that you were all useless, however the vast majority that I know are. For some young punk like you to make fun of the older generation is classless. They deserve our respect and not to be made fun of. Why don't you crawl back in your hole and play fortnight like the rest of the blood-sucking Millennials that I know.
