I think people are missing bruins point that he is just saying Ky is playing the worst of the sec east teams right now not all season. He isn't wrong. I'd have them at the top of my list to play again if I had to pick followed by Vandy, SC, Florida, GA then Mizzu. Mizzu is the one team I wouldn't want to play again this season in the East.

Who would you pick Kentucky to beat in this division if they played tomorrow? There's such a thing as a team getting worse as a season goes along.
Again, they don't play tomorrow. How many National Championships the Vols could have won, if only they could have played UF "tomorrow".

Doesn't work that way, kid.

Still doesn't make them the "worst team in the East". Again, 4-2 against the East.

Facts.

Lol

No one is arguing "facts"

We are discussing how good each team is at present!

These are opinions being discussed. I am
Majorly disappointed you have succeeded in missing that point.

What if Kentucky would have beaten us, would they still be considered a good team?
Not imo. They started strong but then faded like they have in years past. They got lucky vs Mizzou and caught Florida at the right time. They have a great defense and an awful offense

Thank you sir. Sweet sugar needs to change over to sweet and low

Just answer the question, old timer. Who would Kentucky beat in this side of the division if they played tomorrow? This is my point.

That doesn't mean I think they're bad lol. They have clearly regressed as the season has gone along. To the point that they struggled with MTSU.
So they aren’t good or bad? So they’re average? So you think an average team goes 9-3 in the SEC. We can disagree on that.

Wow I missed this the first time. You think Mizzu is better than Georgia at the moment. That's bold. I would disagree because I think the Georgia running game is now elite but it's worth a discussion

SEC is pretty average this year. Really all of CFB is. There’s like 3-5 elite teams, 5-8 good teams and the rest are average. Never seen such a top heavy year, its bad

As it stands right now, I think they're currently playing worse than every other team in the east. They have clearly regressed as the season has gone along. We also don't play 12 conference games in this league.

If you ranked them right now imo:
1 Uga
2 Mizz
3 UF
4 Scar
5 UT
6 Vandy/UK

UK completed 3 passes and beat Vandy, ran for like 280 tho. Would lose to see a rematch. Not much between Scar and UT either

No Mizzu is not better than UGA but we matchup schematically to hang with UGA more than Mizzu. Purely a TN angle of who I would rather play not SEC angle.

If your schedule lines up the way Kentucky’s does most years, 5-3 in the SEC can still make for an average team.

So, in your fantasy scenario, the Vols can go ahead and claim 3 or 4 more SEC titles in the 90's, along with a couple more National Championships, considering we were playing better ball than UF at the end of the year, on several occasions. Man, if only!

And yes, I know all about opinions...it's just, if I wanted one from an a**hole, I'd ask my own.

Without reading every players thread, can someone give me the Reader's Digest version of where we stand in recruiting after a big visit weekend? How many NLI's can be accepted in the early signing period? How many remaining? Who is most likely to commit and sign in the early period? Other interesting angles, etc.
