There were multiple active shooter situations yesterday.....starting already this morning


ABERDEEN, MD. (WTHR) - Police in Maryland say several people have been shot at a warehouse in Aberdeen.

Police say the warehouse is in the 1500 block of Perryman Road in Harford County.

Aberdeen is 30 miles northeast of Baltimore.

Most news outlets reporting it was a female shooter. CNN using the term "gunman" and no mention that it was a female shooter.

Several people have reportedly been shot at a Kroger in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. That's just outside of Louisville.

CHICAGO (AP) — A shooting at a Chicago hospital has wounded multiple people, including a suspect and a police officer, authorities said.

Shots were fired Monday afternoon at Mercy Hospital on the city’s South Side, and officers were searching the facility. Police issued a statement on Twitter saying there were “reports of multiple victims.”


A witness named James Gray told Chicago television station ABC 7 that he saw multiple people shot: “It looked like he was turning and shooting people at random.”

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said at least one potential suspect was shot but offered no details. Authorities asked people to avoid the area.

A message left for hospital officials was not immediately returned.

Television footage showed several people, including some wearing white coats, walking through a parking lot with their arms up.

Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting leaves 3 dead, 15 injured; gunman killed by police

It took less than a minute for police officers to respond after gunfire erupted at a Northern California food festival Sunday night, with cops quickly engaging and fatally shooting the gunman -- but not before the assailant's brief barrage left three dead and 15 others injured.

Smithee said the gunman gained access to the festival by cutting through a fence near a creek area. He said some witnesses reported a second suspect, but police could not immediately confirm those reports and it was unclear if that person also had a weapon or may have been providing some support to the shooter.
