Check back next year and beyond and see if we have talent even remotely similar to KY

I meant we’re rough on our coaches. We can start the year with a mediocre roster, a terrible OL, play the second hardest schedule in football, lose two or three critical players along the way, go into our 11th game and have our QB knocked out in the first quarter followed by our best receiver... and our fans conclude something must be wrong with the coaching staff.

Ha!

So is coming on an opposing teams message board just to insult their team and posters under the guise that you’re a fan.
Almost 7,000 posts in less than two years and thinks the current HC of his rival will bring them back to the promise land. Must be getting paid by Saban cuz he’s far too invested in it if you ask me

Lol.

We aren't losing to UAB.

Most people don't realize that the NCAA allowed them to take transfers and nonqualifiers after they restarted their program. It doesn't matter we will
Win anyway but they are an old team

Yeah they had unlimited signing ability as well. Basically could sign anyone they wanted

I know, and I was provided my side of why I think 2013 was harder. Didn’t mean to come off hostile if I did😂
The schedules are definitely debatable, Smoke; yet, you guys may be right about '13, if only by a hair...maybe...idk. 🤔

Overall record of opp. in '13 was 94-59, with 6 teams finishing in AP top 25. 5 finished in top 10...Auburn at #2.

Overall record of opp. this yr is 83-47, with the potential for 5, maybe 6 teams finishing in top 25 (Mizzou is one of the top 25 teams in the country, I believe you would agree; and they received 34 votes this wk). Potentially, 4 could finish in top 10...with Bama maybe being the greatest college football team ever assembled.

It's very close. I didn't even realize how close until I started digging. Very similar.

Lol. Ok so were not picked dead last but we were right there. Auburn and UK were signature wins. You can spin it whatever way you want. But beating a ranked Auburn in the Plains for the first tim since 1998 is a HUGE win. UK was riding high and playing well. A top 15 team. Thats a big win as well. As far as tough schedules. Here ya go.

College Football Ratings Page

TAMU- 13
LSU- 20
MSU- 27
TN- 4

So there goes your narrative.
He said we were picked last by most people. That's wrong. He also said it was the first time we've had two signature wins in "decades", which is wrong. I'm not saying the Auburn and Kentucky wins weren't big. Don't know how you got that from my post. But since you brought it up, Kentucky was not and is not a top 15 team in all reality. Probably not even a top 25 team if you want to know the truth. Nonetheless, still a nice win. I guess you're using one source for your toughest schedule argument. Because every strength of schedule article I looked at, did not have Tennessee at the top. Tennessee fans have Tennessee at the top. In other words, homers. Take your L and move on.

Yeah 2013 I believe we had a worse overall roster and played a similarly tough schedule.

But 2018 isn’t over yet. The best comparison to 2018 may be 2014 when this is all said and done: terrible OL, disheartening home loss to Mizzou and only Vandy standing between us and a bowl game. Talent-wise I think 2014 and 2018 are similar teams.
