i think it's pretty evident the level of frustration Pruitt has, regarding this.IDT the coaches have ever seen a team like this. I think they thought they could fix the mental issues and build confidence through structure and discipline. But that only worked with some players. At some point, you stop trying to fix and start looking to replace. That's where we are.
at the end of the day, i don't think he's blind to any of it. he's been talking about all these things all year, from leadership issues to just not having enough good players, or being consistent, or executing or even coaching mistakes they've made.
he's trying to put them in a position to have an opportunity to win. going for 4th downs, going for on sides kicks, going for 2 points etc....begging them to go make a play...go win the game...i'm going to give you opportunities............
we're just not there yet.
