Last year. I drove 500 miles to see it and spent a fortune on hotel rooms...and it was cold...

This one hurts more. It is becoming more and more evident that most SEC teams own Neyland Stadium. I am surprised that their bands are not playing, Rocky Top, You'll always be home sweet home to me.

The Mizzou game proves that they belong in the SEC and we need to consider the Sunbelt or OVC. It is really sad on our fanbase's return on investment, both monetarily and emotionally. From what I saw on attendance today some people are starting to figure that out. Probably recruits too. It is really sad when a P5 program hires a staff that is totally incompetent in teaching the basic skills of blocking and tackling.
This was an overly dramatic post to begin with but I will single this line out... If a Power 5 staff is having to spend time teaching the basic skills of blocking and tackling in the first place, it likely means that several of their players should not have been signed to play at this level.

Facts are facts. Face it.

That is comple BS and the only reason our fans think that is b/c Butch kept blaming his bad coaching on lack of talent. Truth is UGA is starting the youngest roster in the SEC and they are blowing teams out. Bama had 6 freshman with key rolls in the national championship last year, including QB, LT, RB, and WR. We just need to hope Pruitt is a much better recruiter than a head coach. Right now our recruiting ranking isn’t giving anyone hope for the foreseeable future.

This post is complete BS. Butch thought he was going to change the SEC with his style of play. Our skill players aren’t bad, but our linemen particularly O line is abysmal. You CANNOT win in the SEC with undersized linemen. Don’t you notice how every defensive line is bigger than our offensive line? This O Line doesn’t fit with the current system. Maybe with Kennedy and Smith it would have made a difference. Some of our current players definitely don’t pass the eye test, but I believe Pruitt will change that. This program has been a **** show since Hamilton fired Fulmer. Hamilton and Hart ran this program into the ground, there aren’t any quick fixes. Don’t have to recruit all 5 star players, just have to recruit the right players.

Like has been said in the past...it's not the 5 stars u miss out on that kill u it's the 3 stars who can't do what u need them to that kill u. We need these 3 star guys that can be taught and want to play for Pruitt.

I do not think MO belongs in the SEC, so that makes these beat downs more depressing.

It's hard to make the case UT needs to be in the SEC as poorly as we've performed the last two seasons. Mizzou I hate to say it has been a much better football program than UT has since they've been in it. Sad but true.

The realization Mizzou recruits nowhere near as well as we do traditionally and we put on the field the product that lost 50 - 17 at home is a tough one to take with no lube.

With no Lube, how do you know?

That’s right, these days people win and win big with young players. It’s just an excuse, already handing passes out for the next several years.

I’m beginning to think no. I’m 62 and may not live to see the glory days again
Nah your done:) hell man I’m 34 and I don’t think I’m going to either... we have a bunch of boobs at the top who only care about the money... as long as the fans keep just handing it over no matter what the product on the field they are going to keep presenting us with turd sandwich after turd sandwich. It sucks but it’s pretty apparent that that is the case.

I think next year's tickets sales will prove the fans are feed up and UT, both administrative and coaching, will need to prove they can actually manage professionally, a state university and a SEC football program. For the last 10+ years, both have been failures. I'm not forking over multiple $K, to go and watch crap. I've seen high school teams play better and who actually care about playing the game.

Yeah the fanbase has given money over the years in good faith that the program was at least trying to get good again, it’s time for them to prove it to the fans at this point.

But if we don’t give money how will we afford Pruitts buyout in a few year? :)

I don’t mean to be overly negative but can anyone really say things are looking definitely better under Pruitt than they were under butch? I don’t see it. Basically just more wishful thinking.

We have a pretty decent secondary held down by two freshman. That alone speaks for the difference in coaching.

The line needs help obviously and we have taken two major season ending injuries that have made our line a big issue.

Overall Pruitt has two SEC wins against two ranked opponents. Last year we were 0-8 in the SEC so yes I would say this year looks better.

A blind man could see that.....

Year one beat 2 top 20 rank teams with same players that couldn't win a sec game the year before and won more games and can still go bowling with a win .
