Mizzou's offense was a bad matchup for our defense. The play calling wasn't the issue today. Their guys simply lined up and whipped our guys. They did this to Florida too.

Not to mention they scored 14 off of turnovers. Without the turnovers this is a much closer game. In fact the first one was arguably a 14 point turnaround total, or at least 10.

Defense actually played pretty well in the first half. But they couldn't fight Missouri and the TOs.

I have no problem with that. But honestly, even Pittman would likely be struggling with this group. I mean a 270lb guard? Sheesh. We have no quality depth either. Botch put us way behind the 8 ball.

The old guard just isn't very good. They were poorly developed from a physical standpoint.

I believe we had terrible discipline, accountability, and work ethic.

Until Pruitt can change this culture, which I believe he will, we just aren't that competitive. Look how many underclassmen are playing over 3,4, 5 year guys.

Play calling has not been the issue. We're getting whipped in the trenches on both sides of the ball. We're just going to have to be patient and let Pruitt build. It sucks but reality sometimes does.

I saw the oline get whipped on pass protection and run blocking. I saw the dlines inability to get to the QB. Neither of these things could happen if we expected to win the game, we knew that going in. I was expecting them to gamble more on defense. Missou never has a top 10 recruiting class but they always have a tough defense.

As a whole standpoint looking back on the season; yes I have seen improvement. If you haven’t then I can’t help you with that. End of story

Lol. Coaching definitely wasnt good. But we witnessed the players yet again fail to execute the simplest of things.

Route running- nope
RB's picking up blitzes- still no
O line picking up blitzes- again, hahahahahaha

Freshman DBs- yes
LB play- maybe but tackling is an issue
There's more but I'll leave you with this thought. Every team in D! football is better than they were in their first game of the season unless there were numerous injuries. So while you guys point out every little tiny bit of improvement, I will say those things should be expected at a minimum.
