Triggered.A) lighten up Francis. You had to know that was a joke.
B) T n P from a person of faith to a person of faith is absolutely appropriate. Context applies. An atheist offering T n P probably should easily be perceived as mocking. A person of faith offering T n P to an atheist probably isn’t mocking but the atheist could probably care less.

I agree with you that it doesn’t change anything. I’d submit it isn’t supposed to though.T's and P's irrespective of the source are equally ineffective. If you find comfort in saying 'thoughts and prayers' after someone's loved one is murdered, good for you - it's good to know it makes you feel better... It changes nothing and very clearly doesn't prevent anything.

I’d also submit mocking a person of faith who genuinely offered T n Ps as an acknowledgement of somebodies grief doesn’t change anything either and is a dick move to boot.
If the person you’re mocking happens to be a politican replying with T n Ps go nuts. They’re pretty much screwed anyway with any response they make. It’ll obviously piss somebody off.
I've never understood the need to mock others for their faith. It's almost as if the ones doing it are missing something in their lives. It almost as if they're jealous. "I don't have it but you do so let's mock it, marginalize it so I can feel better about not having it."

Question faith and belief systems all you want. Sure this is a great place to do it too.Since when did having a belief in something make it too sacred to question? This forum is freshly packed daily with examples of people shtting on other peoples deeply held convictions and beliefs, applying the 'faith' buzzword is supposed to suddenly make it off limits? f that.
Feigning outrage that someone would dare question the basis of your preferred religion and "mock" your constant "thoughts and prayers" in the wake of every tragedy is tired, we've been down this road.

I vote we get rid of social media. That should greatly help with the mental health of most moonbats since Trump won’t be able to daily trigger them.People are sick of seeing it used as a crutch, T&P's and #prayfor<insertmassacrehere> has become cliché.
I agree T&P is over used because most don't mean it. For those that do believe and actually mean it and actually do it, it's has power. And to those that are in the receiving end appreciate it. It seems it's only hollow and offensive to people that don't believe which takes us back to my original point.People are sick of seeing it used as a crutch, T&P's and #prayfor<insertmassacrehere> has become cliché.
