Forgive my ignorance, but I cant tell if the (blue font) has a hidden meaning and is meant as a joke or is meant in all seriousness. LOL I have to say that JG is a work horse and is killing it as far as I am concerned based on line play and how much he is on his back. Putting Chryst in MIGHT give us another W or two in the short run, but meaningful snaps for JG improves on him as a player and sets us up for success next year when Chryst has graduated and JG is at the helm. Simply put, benching JG for Chryst would be a mistake. JG has the team behind him and has proven to be a tough guy who leads by example who is showing his team what it means to play tough through pain and adversity.Bench JG.
Put Chryst in.
(Blue font)
One is 85 and one is in his first year of starting and getting better. It seems to reason that similar performances from ascending and descending players would be looked at differently. It's interesting how similar JG's stats and situation are to those of Eli Manning's this year. Both have completion rates in the high 60's, low number of TDs, low number of interceptions, high passing YPA, both are playing behind poor offensive lines, and both have only won two games (of significance) this season.
There's debate on whether Manning should continue to start, but any discussion of JG's short comings is heresy to some, to the point that posters on here have resorted to claims of racism as a response to any criticism of JG's performances.

And no both haven't only won 2 games this year.
Dude you really have a comprehension problem. What's his age have to do with his performance? QBs over 35 should be automatically benched? How old are Roethlisberger, and Brees now?
Dude you really have a comprehension problem.
Where did I say anyone should be benched? I said age and experience influence how a player's performance is evaluated.
Anyone with sense knows this.
Dude you are comparing one QB who is at the very end of his career to a QB who is at the very beginning??So why bring up Manning's age in reference to his performance? Is it that you literally can't post about JG without going into ultra-defense mode?

Not sure what point you are trying to make other than you don’t like the 4th rated QB in the SEC. Noted move on
We are talking about overall QB Rating which is the composite of ALL facets of being a QB combined to rate the overall QB play. Do you know where Eli Manning is ranked ?A QB at the end of his career, who is completing 67.6% of his passes, putting him at 8th in the NFL in completion percentage, less than a percentage point behind Jared Goff.
Are you telling me that high completion percentage isn't good enough for you to consider him to be a good QB this year?
I was just pointing out that Manning and Guarantano, have very similar stats, behind similarly performing offensive lines, this season, relative to the fact that one is in the NFL and one is CFB.

27th
There are 32 teams in the nfl so ...
Lol ok 28th is the same as 4th ... you are rightESPN's total QBR rating sure, NFL rating has him at 28 out of 58 rated QBs with a rating of 92.7; not the best but far from the worst.
Blue font is intended as just that, sarcasm or kidding... I myself have had a couple of posts that SHOULD have used blue font cause otherwise well its hard to tell when someone is kidding via a keyboard. Some actually use blue font and others (blue font).Hope that helpsForgive my ignorance, but I cant tell if the (blue font) has a hidden meaning and is meant as a joke or is meant in all seriousness. Again, if I missed some sarcasm from the (blue font) thing disregard my post. LOL
GBO!!

Analogy is fine. It shows that cherry picking most stats does not paint the whole picture. People desperately want JG to be a great QB because UT is stuck with him for 2 more years. No sane person says "yeah, this is the guy I want leading the sports team I root for!"..Wow. What a terrible analogy. One is a veteran who has a HOF pedigree, is at the end of his career and has true game changers at the RB and WR. The other is playing in his first full season, under his 3rd OC, 2nd HC, 2nd S&C coach, a horrid OL, no elite playmakers and a rookie coaching staff.
The problem with most of the criticisms made by VN and other fans is that they are coming from those who are not trained well enough to really make them. When the coaches have decided who they believe is the better player, then that makes fans "criticisms" moot.
