Before this day gets any further. Thanks to the Vets that frequent VN.
Thank you from this old Navy Vet. I had a blast during my time. My Grandfather fought at Iwo Jima. My squadron in Japan had to go to Iwo twice a year to get carrier qualified. My favorite moment of my time in the Navy was when I climbed Mt Suribachi (site where Marines raised the flag). Stood there and imagined the hell my Grandfather and his brothers went through. We have a lot to be thankful for. We owe so much to many who sacrificed.3A6F34B3-95EC-476E-8DEE-9EB96DA92DF9.jpeg

I always love the coaching carousel. USC is a big job. It will force a lot of dominoes to fall.

You think that. But sometimes big jobs like USC, LSU, etc will hire some nobody or promote from within and don’t really get the high profile guys.

I would expect usc to totally break the bank tho. Wouldn’t shock me if they went back and made a run a Pete carrol to come back.

I thought it was pretty funny how Josh Allen was being pumped up as a sack monster. He did have one and hit JG a time or two but who hasnt. Hes a solid player no doubt. Then in rolls DT with 4 sacks and a forced fumble.

They even did a little segment on JA being among elite company of other various sack artists. They are broadcasting from the 865 inside Neyland Stadium and dont even mention Derek Barnett or RW with the other said sack artists. As has been mentioned, it was a pretty sorry broadcast all the way around.
Yeah I said the same thing...how are you covering a Tennessee game and list all these sack artists, and not mention Reggie or Barnett? Couldn't believe they didn't mention one of them.

Yes, USC is going to break the bank. 3 terrible hires in a row.

the main reason we scored before half was chandlers run and if you watch it you will see number 41 do a big old old miss tackle after getting kind of run over by chandler. Goes to show he is just a pass rusher and not much else. Was a big no factor all day except a play or two.

No way he is allowed to coach in college again.

Sorry a little more Petrino fun.

Some guys who have been thinking about leaving early just needed a reason to stay. It has been a miserable few years at UT and it showed in how the team played in Neyland and how the fans responded. That changed yesterday. Two big wins and the chance to win out, go undefeated in Nov and get to a good bowl has made UT football fun again.
