I loved at the end where he took a coaching opportunity after the stupid lateral following the interception. It didn't matter to the outcome but it was boneheaded and he didn't let it go. Good coaches are always coaching. The post game comments on the field were also good - immediately looking at where the team can improve.

I expected 5-7 but with a shot at 6-6. So totally in line with expectations but with a realistic shot at 7-5.

Also AU and UK are quality wins.

So....exceed by a bit so far, but could exceed by a lot.

If they can win 1 or more of the next 2 games and finish strong on the recruiting trail then I think he is definitely on the right path and it might be fun again to be a Tennessee Vol.

Pretty good all in all. I felt like we let one get away from us in SCAR and we could have been a lot more competitive with WV and FL. But this was a young team and they will get better. Not many Seniors and I don't see too many declaring for the draft early (a WR or two maybe a LB).

I also think we will finish strong on the recruiting trail; a top ten class or close to it.

And conversely... Only 20 yards rushing last week to over 200 this week.

I'll give props to the o line and Tim Jordan. Both of which I've been fairly critical of this year, and both probably played their best games.

And JG was pretty good too lol. He deserves credit. Very efficient.

Pruitt has taken a team that lost 8 games last year and didn’t win a single SEC game to beating two ranked SEC teams, one on the road and this is his first year as a HC ever.

Florida won the same amount of games last year as Tennessee.

I am a huge CJP fan and think he will take our Vols to championship caliber heights. Next year CJP will be coach of year because 9 wins is very possible.

Florida had conference wins, we didn’t.

They also haven’t been as decimated as we have been since 09.

He's yet to meet expectations, IMO. If we close out the season with wins, I'll be happy.

Would you have said that last week? This team has been up and down, but hopefully, they have it figured out. As of last week, the team had regressed. If they close out the season with wins, I'll be happily looking forward to next season.

I most certainly would have and did say that last week.

Last season we didn’t win a single conference game. Our ugly win against Charlotte last week doesn’t change the fact that we had beaten a ranked SEC opponent on the road.

We couldn’t and didn’t do that last year.
