I'm sorry but please quit with this potent kool aid crap, and please quit with the Fulmer bashing and how we are gonna get our tails kicked by Florida and how this season is going to be so horrible. That is a bunch of crap, it was just one game, just like last year when we lost to Cal far worst than we lost to UCLA. I mean guys, c'mon, you are part of Tennessee Football, you are part of a rich tradition, why in the world would you bash your own team and don't give me stupid reasons like numbering them and blabbing off into oblivion. I mean my God, it seems to me like we seriously have got some die hard UT faithful when they are winning and then some band wagon UT fans when they are sucking after what we saw in the first game, get over it, bleed orange and white, die a volunteer, live and die by the orange and white. We are gonna pick up a momentum booster Saturday against UAB, and Florida coming off a week off next week will be out of sync and will not be ready, and then the next week we roll down to Auburn to spank the Tigers, guys please c'mon and believe in your Vols. I'm just getting a little irritated with the negativity, I mean either your a Vols fan or not, and if your just a bandwagon magnet, don't talk or bash on this team. Just get behind em and cheer em on every game and carry the fight. We are not gonna get killed by anybody from here on out, this is just gonna be like last season I feel and screw what ya hear from negative dumb Kirk Herbstreit or any other media basher we got out there, I mean afterall these are the guys that pick Georgia to possibly win a national championship, it hasen't happened for Georgia in 20 years and it sure as heck is not going to happen now, I can guarantee you that, I will even put money on that one, USC will most likely win the National Championship this year and that's just the way it is, they are by far the best team in the country.

Oh, boy...

Welcome to the board and I appreciate your loyalty. Try to keep a thick skin.

Oh, and consider a paragraph or two.

You've just given the tenth cheerleading thread to us since the UCLA debacle. Here's the reality of the situation, people are gonna bitch when our team plays like crap. We're gonna root for them anyway but we don't necessarily need y'all cheerleaders to tell us how to think, react to losses or what we need to do from now on. By the way, welcome aboard the VolNation.

people are just going to be upset after a loss.Get used to it. If it were a well played game against a better opponent then it wouldnt be quite as bad. I will root for our team no matter what. However dont expect people not to be upset when the team played terrible and lost to a team like ucla.

Agreed.

By the way, you said it would be just like last year. Not sure the fan base is going to like another 100-37 against our two biggest rivals, regardless of a blowout win against UGA.

There is no sense in arguing so I will just say that we can revisit your thread at seasons end and see.

It goes beyond UCLA.

When he quits coaching your favorite team, you are that guy that hates and loves. You certainly didn't hate him when he won the 1998 national championship, you certainly didn't hate him when the season went good and Tennessee wound up in the SEC championship, see this is exactly what i'm talking about.

I didn't say I hate him. Apparently someone needs a lesson in slang.

As for the SEC championship game, I wasn't a fan of CPF when we lost that game either.

As for the NC, well, that was 10 years ago. As a fan I have every right to ask "What has he done for me lately"

Only problem with this statement is he didn't win the '98 title, he never played a down. The University of Tennessee football team won that title.

Glad to see Hamilton is not the only person to enjoy SEC E "titles".
