Good deal, we can call it the "old farts that need to take their geritol thread" Makes sense. And if you check, I have not once said anyone on our team sucked. I have agreed that our OL is bad and simply wanted to see KC get a shot. That brings on your entire army of sunshine pumping JG worshiping do gooders. Go on make your thread. It may actually be more a question of logic and maturity than of positivity and negativity.

Most folks here would probably call me a sunshine pumper. But I get along great with KB, who many folks call a negavol. I get along with him because he is mature and brings logic to his perspective. We don't always agree, but I do always respect the way he presents his viewpoint.

There are others, who show frequent immaturity, or who go out of their way to ignore logical thought, whom I respect far less. And some of them would be categorized as sunshine pumpers, like me.

So I'd actually be more interested in VN.com "club houses" divided up that way. Call one place "Calm and Considered", and the other "Hair on Fire, Logic Be Damned". Heh.

Go Vols!

Your experience here will be much more enjoyable if you put about 15-20 of the NegaVols on your ignore list. Easy to do, click on their user name and then hit the ignore user button, they hate it and you'll never see them again!

@surrealvol do it now....he will sue yoy and he aint playing. He is mad professional....except for his constant post about how stupid everyone is.

It goes both ways, the same mindless drivel is spewed by the pumpers as well.... both sides have their extremists but I certainly don’t consider the “ negas” any worse than the “ pumpers” on this board with regards to reasonable discussion about pretty much any topic. Just my observation.

I like the idea, but that’s all it will every be.

Just overlook the negativity. Many folks need a place to vent.

They get grief from unsatisfied people all day/night at work, they get home to catch more grief from more unsatisfied people.

No one thinks anyone that can impact the play on the field is influenced by anything that goes on in the threads of this site so they let ‘er rip. The worst part is if it was established that the comments made here did have an influence the negative voice of Volnation would blame it on the player/recruit for being soft for allowing a handful of negative comments bother them. It’s a catch 22. No one is listening that matters, if they are listening they shouldn’t be bothered by it, if they are bothered it’s their own fault for being soft.

I would like to sit in on a film room session to see how all our mistakes on the field are being handled. It might even help to know who is making the mistakes(Some are obvious others not so much.).
