No, I know how football recruiting works. Big time programs do not use these types of services, EVER!
Lol, ok sir. I guess the coaches we talk to every day and the kids that sign with these schools don't exist. We're meeting with a new D1 tomorrow to talk prospects, I'll let them know that you say they don't exist. When you get a chance call Saban and ask him how they found Jacobs, their starting TB and call Stoops out in Ok and ask how he found Levi Draper, a 4 star LB. Better yet, call coach Fulmer and ask him how Aaron Sears ended up at UT.

I was told that by someone else as they were joking me and as pointed out by another poster, you didnt dispell it
I never saw the post as you were duped by the kings of NegaVol, most of which are on my ignorelist so I never see their post. You had no problem posting it anyway when you had no idea whether it was true or not.

You made a wrong one there. I am friends with a doctor from Josh Jacobs hometown. He is actually the team physician for his high school. Are you saying you helped the bubbas land Jacobs??? I want you to think before you answer that.

I have no problem with you asking them. Saban and his staff never knew Jacobs existed until a phone call was made to a member of the Alabama staff and told of him. 2 weeks later he got offered. Call em up and ask them how Bama all of a sudden offered a 3 star prospect. Jacobs was not in our service but I know who made the call and when. Coaches have contacts all across the country and I could care less if you believe our company is one of those contacts or not.

And FWIW our company's home office is in Russellville Al and over 30 years we have had numerous athletes go to Alabama in all sports. We currently have a girl on the softball team now.

We are realistically looking at 4-5 years to be able to compete for the SEC East title. CJP knows the type of players it will take. The question is can he convince them to come to Tennessee.
The most important thing is getting the players on campus at the point. Just the name ā€œTennesseeā€ doesn’t resignate with players like it used to. It’s sad but true. Most of the old timers know how much of a big deal we used to be and that’s really the only we can sell as of right now and early playing time. Time will tell tho.

A service didnt place Jacobs, I know firsthand very well how he got out of McLain HS in Oklahoma to the bubbas.
No real reason to explain it to you but here goes. Jacob's had 1 D1 offer to Tulsa I believe at the time, a phone call was made from Ok by a staff member of a recruiting service to another higher up in same service, one who just happens to be a big Bama fan and has contacts throughout the bama staff. A call was made by said service letting the bama staff know that a talented kid was getting overlooked out in Ok and looked to him to be a quality back worth checking out. Because the coaching member trusted the recruiting service they obviously went and checked him out because he was offered like a week or 2 later and very late in the recruiting cycle. You like to make assumptions so you figure it out.

And I know firsthand exactly to the day when the Alabama staff 1st heard of Jacobs.
I will stop because I dont want to cause further embarrassment. Tone down the rhetoric man, you dont have to act like you know everything because you work for a promotional service. Remember, you were a basketball star on the Hill, not football.

Not talking about rivals. I'll try again. We have a talent evaluator who recruits Ok, he calls in and says hey guys, there is a talented back (he was never recruited as a qb) that is getting overlooked. Our guy then called a member of the staff and let them know about Jacobs and that we thought he was worth a look, probably just a coincidence that he signed a week or 2 later.

Haha, promotional service that's helped families receive over $100,000,000 in athletic scholarships the last 30 years.

I believe he can. Just look at the guys he has brought in and are very likely to bring in. JJ Petersen, Williams, Fields, Beasley, Morris, Pappoe, Wright and a few more. The win at Auburn this year was bigger than some want to realize imo. Not only getting these players but they also have to develop them as well.

Still has nothing to do with acting like you are the nostrodomeus of football knowledge from an X and O standpoint. Have you ever even played high school ball??

We've already had this conversation, I told you every sport I played, when and where and it has nothing to do with this thread. Here's a link if you'd like to check out some of our past athletes. 95% of these we had contracts with and several we just helped with the process for various reasons. This is a small sampling but will give you an idea of how small regionlized services work.

Dude they killed Optimus in that movie and handed us rodimus prime.....

F that movie.

That movie and the GI Joe movie is one of the main reason I have anger issues now. You just don’t screw with a young boys childhood like that.

Did I even mention that damn movie killer off half my transformers toy collection in like the first five minutes????

Our home office is in Russellville Al, we've written contracts in Alabama for over 30 years, of course we have a bunch that went there. One of our owner's 1st deals in recruiting was with Coach Majors. Coach wanted film on a player in Florence, Al and our service was who he used to get that film. I own the middle Tn franchise and work all sports throughout the state.

Good luck to you, no hard feelings. You could learn to not be so rude to some good fellow Vol fans on here and it would take you a lot farther.
