One thing I find interesting in GA is the shift in the tone of the gubernatorial campaign ads. A month ago Kemp was running positive ads (typically indicative of a confident campaign), and Abrams was running negative ads (typically indicative of a lack of confidence). Over the past week, however, Kemp has rolled out an onslaught of negative ads, and Abrams has shifted positive.

The republican ads in GA are insane. They play you guys like a bunch of imbeciles. Do any of you get offended by their opinions of what will energize the republican base?

I wouldn't call anyone stupid for spending their leisure time doing whatever makes them happy. I saw Bohemian Rhapsody Friday night - probably not for everyone but it's what I wanted to do. Having said that, aren't all of Trump's rallies the same? Seen one, seen 'em all kind of thing? You know exactly what he's gonna say: bring up the caravan and say that there are bad people in it with all kinds of diseases including some which have been eradicated, blame the "fake news media" for the toxic discourse in the country but then call them the "enemy of the people", claim that the Democrat he is campaigning against is unqualified, in favor of open borders, will raise taxes and increase the crime rate regardless of whether or not it's even accurate. He will also attack Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters and George Soros. He will spend about 3 minutes on the economy - the only positive message of the whole rally - but even then, he will make some exaggerated claims. His speeches are repetitive.

To be fair, there’s nothing positive about Abrams.

Taking off my partisan glasses and looking at the race for Georgia governor, I find it beyond Incredible that so many voters, according to the polls, will actually vote for Abrams.

All of that is very true, but I never said people going to see trump looked stupid.
GAVol for some reason thought I did.
I was talking about the Black Panther picture. (someone asked what I thought of the picture, and I answered)
These guys will sometime create "fake facts" based on their misunderstandings.

But speaking of Trump in Macon, he evidently just told the zombies that Abrams would take all of the guns in GA.
If anyone believes that is even remotely true, then they are indeed stupid. If they know it is not true, why cheer the trumpster when he is obviously lying?

Most of the time, statements like that are pure hyperbole. In this case, Abrams actually co-sponsored a bill in the state house that would have forced some gun owners to turn in weapons. No... It didn't have a snow ball's chance in hell of passing, but you don't get to take an extreme position like that and not get it brought up in the future.
