The Official Tennessee vs. Charlotte Game Thread, 4:00 PM ET, SEC Network (Alt.)

Is the middle of the field off limits? Receiver bubble screens, back shoulder throws down the sideline. Where is JJ over the middle. Not even using half the field it seems.

I'm a fence guy on JG. I think he's likely our best options and I like a lot of his game, but dislike his football awareness. It seems to me we're really limiting what we're asking him to do, and I assume there's a reason for that.

If he's the QB next year, and we don't get a new oline coach who can get more out of this line, then we are in for another lost season.

Crompton was terrible until we got a good offensive coach.

I wish I could say this was the worst game the Vols have played in the last 20 years, but I cant. Pitiful.

JG is a big problem right now. The O-line is a disaster, but even when they manage to give him all the time in the world, he either over/under throws down field or dumps it for a 1 to 3 yd gain.

You forgot throws it to someone right at or behind the line of scrimmage as well.

They're getting paid big bucks to answer that question, unsuccessfully to this point. With any team we should see progress, no matter what the talent level. Maybe I'm missing it but I don't see it. Auburn, who isn't setting the world on fire, is the only saving grace.
Elephant in the living room is we got top level people, Fulmer and coaches w/ no past experience in their job descriptions. It was a firesale panic move and we act like it wasn't.

respectfully disagree. Not with the comment they are getting paid to do it but with the thought there is much they can do. Not sure what you mean by top level people? Assuming coaches?
