I despise the kickoff fair catch rule.

It changes the effect of penalties on kickoffs. If you get a 15 yd penalty it would almost be worth it to try an onside. They should assess the penalty after the fair catch if they make a fair catch. So a 15 yd penalty would be half the distance. You can’t kick high and short and hope to pin them back. That’s for sure.

Watching this game makes me wonder. Fromm is obviously capable of lighting up Florida secondary yet they don’t put it in his hands until the 4th q. Is it because they are not wanting to show their hand until the 4th q and then unleash their best plays? If Florida had gone up by two scores, does that expedite the process? Just seems foolish not to play aggressive the whole game.
