Condredge Holloway took a beating, as did Shuler and Robinson. JG gets hit a bunch because he stays in the pocket fearlessly waiting for receivers to open up. He's got to start throwing receivers open earlier to avoid the hits, take a few more chances. He's improving every game I feel and will likely be a weapon next season.I just want to ask, has any UT quarterback taken more of a beating than JG? The kid is tough.
You think a 75% JG gives us a better chance to win than 100% KC? Sorry but what about KC in the Bama game did you not like or that gives you any indication that he cant handle the pressure of a big game?If JG is 75% he plays (Maybe as low as 65%), He is our QB and the whole team knows it!
Is he Perfect? No! But he is our guy regardless and gives us the best chance to win!
I'll give you one, 1st offensive play of 3rd quarter. I've not seen JG get stepped on and fall down in the endzone much. You blame the lineman probably. You think a 75% JG gives us a better chance to win than 100% KC? Pruitt states on Vol Calls last night that there was not enough time for JG to make any reads at all in the Bama game.Arm is fine. Decisions are a half count late. Same problem manifesting itself in a different way. He’s as physically gifted as anyyUT has had in a long time. His problem is reads and decision making.
JG needs to get healthy. Theres no assurances you can get him through the game without taking several more hits, especially now that Trey is out.You think a 75% JG gives us a better chance to win than 100% KC? Its funny how some people who dont know anything about a person will presume to know what they think. TBH I dont really blame anyone on that play, KC stepped with his left foot to plant the and the lineman stepped backwards. That the only play you can come up with, one that may or may not be his fault?I'll give you one, 1st offensive play of 3rd quarter. You said name one. Big, slow and lack of arm strength are the 3 main reasons though. Its funny how some people who dont know anything about a person will presume to know what they think. Really? You said name one. Big, slow and lack of arm strength are the 3 main reasons though.
You're going to argue every point, he does not have the arm strength to play QB in the Pac10 or SEC. Arm strength is the main reason he is not playing, what part of that is hard for you to understand? He is a sitting duck in the pocket because he moves slow. It hasn't showed up yet because he has not taken any meaningful snaps, other than the one he fell down on. You can cry about Chryst all you want, coaches, scouts, OCs, DCs, knowledgeable fans and talent evaluators all say the same about him. Keep arguing with all of those though if it makes you happy.Really?

Where did I say that?
Arent QBs supposed to be big?
Slow? He got the ball out quicker than JG?
Arm strength? He far do you need to be able to throw the ball to score points?
No one is crying besides you. You're going to argue every point, he does not have the arm strength to play QB in the Pac10 or SEC. If they decided to roll with Chryst from the start he has shown enough to feel comfortable with his ability over an injured JG.
Nothing wrong with that, however #2 is incorrect. They blitzed him every series hence why he threw the ball away several times but maybe not as much as JG IDK1. Game was over before he entered the game
2. No real blitzing pressure
3. 1 good Qtr 2 average Qtrs
4. Nothing impressed me that he did after seeing Jg the week before against Auburn
5. But that is just my opinion
Don't need a list, his last 2 head coaches and both OCs seemingly have had the same thoughts. Do you think Coach Shaw and now Coach Pruitt are not playing him because he's good? Why have his last 2 coaches made him the backup? Call around young man and ask a few evaluators why he isn't playing. Game managers only work when you have a dominant line, dominant WRs and dominant RBs alongside a dominant defense. I challenge you to name 1 single weak armed qb that won championships on nothing but dink and dump passing plays! Chryst is not even a game manager with a completion pct below 55.No one is crying besides you.
You got a link to the OC DC and talent evaluators saying that?
FACT: he scored 2touchdowns against BAMA and played 3 QTRS but no meaningful snaps? Ok
Yea it seems we certainly wont agree on anything so, carry on![]()
Thanks for the compliment but I am not that young. Do you REALLY call 30-40 yard passes "dink and dump" or are you just trolling at this point. What would a good completion percentage be for a game manager in your opinion?Don't need a list, his last 2 head coaches and both OCs seemingly have had the same thoughts. Certainly not 54%. You obviously have no idea why it's important to have arm strength at the qb position and why you don't see weak armed QBs have any success in the SEC or NFL.Thanks for the compliment but I am not that young. It seems irrational for anyone to take this stance after what we saw against Bama. On JG's side? Ok. But "not even close"? Seems irrational.I'm kind of lost in who is arguing what and for whom. I'm on the JG side and it's not even close.
Ok, man! Keep thinking a 75% JG is better than a guy just played a good game against Bama. Its your world and you know what people think before they even speak so should have figured from the get go that you thought you knew everything about football yet here you are with the rest of usCertainly not 54%. Love how it goes to calling someone a know it all when you are the one calling for a weaker player to play the most important position on the field. There is a reason he transferred, and there is a reason he is a backup now, if you can't figure out why then I can't help you.Ok, man!
